@myfacevids Depends. Decision between EWQL CCC and NI K8 Ultimate...if you want awesome orchestral, choir, piano, and percussion sounds...go with CCC. Just know that it lacks any decent synth patches - if you want more of those with less emphasis on that "Big Hollywood" string sound...go with Komplete 8 Ultimate.
Unfortunately Apple choose to be different, so no Logic doesn't accept VST plugins, but I believe there is a VST to AU wrapper you can buy from Fxpansion.
I'm pretty sure, (not 100%) that theres an AU 'Audio-Unit' version of Komplete, maybe not.
thanks so much for posting: i am interested in Komplete 8 Ultimate Standard, but ther don't seem to be ANY demos of N.I. brass at the site!! The brass is terrific, which is a relief...N.I. should demo their brass much more, or some, even.....
You can install it on up to 3 computers but only 1 machine can use it at a time as it uses the internet to verify the subscription.. There's not trying to get round it by working 'offline' :(
@johnlecepe i think you can install it on as many computers as you want, but you have to know, that you're just allowed to use it on 3 computers! Hope it will help (:
@Slotchrisi you mean that you can use it on 3 different computers at the same time ? some people told me that you could only install it on 3 computers, and only use it with 1 computer at a time. (in that case, it's a real pain in my ass). thanks for your answer anyway :)
Hey man, awesome video. Thanks for uploading this. I had a question: I am currently using an old Korg Z1 and some what slow laptop for MIDI and VST's but I experience a lot of latency when trying to record real time to my songs. I plan on purchasing a good MIDI controller and decent PC with a good processor to try to have zero latency. Do you have any recommendations for this? Do you experience any lag when you record with your MIDI controller for your songs? Thanks
@djhandlez For low latency, you don't need a better MIDI controller - the most important thing it to get an external sound card with ASIO drivers or download ASIO4ALL onto your computer. I have a video on ASIO4ALL - using it on my computer with pretty low specs gives me really low latency. Check out that video, called - "How To Fix Latency Problems in Windows 7" Best of luck!
hello, i love this video! i just have 1 question, i bought komplete elements and its very cool,, everythign is fine, only i cannot find the concert grand. i go to selected instruments, orchestral, then keyboard, and only see harpsichord, can you please help me? thanks!
@famousguyable NI reduced the size of Elements. This video is for Komplete 7 Elements, not Komplete Elements. Sorry! I guess it just doesn't come with a piano anymore...
@AndrecJC ohh haah shoot! oh well, im still very impressed, but i can see why they did that lol thank you! i subbed! and by the way you'd be a great movie composer haha
nice dude. Very nice. I recently bought Komplete 7 and it´s dope. Check my tune with Komplete 7, summer breeze. And session strings is awesome add on. Komplete 7 is easily best value for money. Keep up the good work.
Hey I got a question, I purchased Komplete Elements today but my orchestral doesn't have the percussion section and the concert grand. Where did you get these sounds from? Were they added with the last Kontakt update? And is there a difference between Kontakt 7 Elements and Kontakt Elements or is the same?
Hey I got a question, I purchased Komplete Elements today but my orchestral doesn't have the percussion section and the concert grand. Where did you get these sounds from? Were they added with the last Kontakt update?
@Ondus2000 Komplete 7 is more expensive and includes a lot more than Komplete 7 Elements. Basically, Elements is an intro into the full version of Komplete.
