The new way to select another video from the player window is cool, because all the related videos in it show Guilty Gear characters and it kinda looks like a character select screen. Thought that was pretty awesome. :)

The story mode is one of them and the fans are not happy. Turns out that AC+ was a greater screwjob in the Story Mode dept. Sol's path was a major fuck you. 'nuff said. :(

It would be different in the US, where you retain your birth nationality after gaining citzenship, but under Japanese law he is not South African.

So, Ragna's Azure Grimoire couldn't do shit against Hazama, sure, then again, HAZAMA MADE THE FREAKING THING! Stands to reason he can trumph someone with a fake like Ragna's right arm, hence why he needs the idea Engine, and, Sol may have "Ultimate Power", but he doesn't use it because he's lazy, not because he thinks he shouldn't.
@KaiHyouookami Not only lazy. If he will use it always, then fight become boring to him. Like Kenpachi. He almost always fight not in full power.
Still, if we look at sol's and Ragna's personalities - Sol is some lazy and smart man, but he has some not typical part of character, like style. Even in GG2 with his outfit he looks realistic. Ragna is typical hot-blooded anime char. Nothing non-ordinary.
@ElvisLynx Hmmmm...nah, I think that's being too drastic, I mean, considering Ragna went through a lot more grief than Sol and that his life is a Maelstrom of Misfortune(tm), the fact he can stil not be a complete EMO is pretty badass in and off itself. @redmage2000 I guess it's what would also would usually be called a lack of "interestingness". Especially in a series with so little IN-GAME story exposition as Street Fighter, it just makes Ryu look very dry, compared to most of the cast.
@KaiHyouookami I won't say a gross lack of in-game story. The guys at Capcom did a good job of creating the backdrop esp on the relevant background materials. The only stupidity lies in that they dun give a flying damn to potential screw ups in-canon which will end up in retcon (Zeku says hi). That plus SF has always been known to have shit characters in terms of development barring a few, most notably Guy and Cody.
@KaiHyouookami Erm I won't say Final Fight is a diff game b/c it actually exists within the SF universe as well. Which is why the two can make the legit leap over to SF. Try to think along the line of the Fatal Fury-and-King of Fighters-link here. :)

I'm not sure about SF4 but the gameplay is also a tad slower, but I'm not gonna complain about it because I've seen worse.

This is evident in the Project Justice episode where Capcom decided to be a bunch of assholes by saying "yeah we're gonna throw that one out lol!" despite a lot of stuff that can be done for the plotline and gameplay. DS was a greater screwjob tho in the same areas. :(

I agree, they should like have Ishiwatari help out in mainstream Street Fighter games, like he did some work in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, they should first: reboot Street Fighter, second: do two sequels, and last: a sub-series with a new character who's Ryu's apprentice all with graphics like Guilty Gear.

@redmage2000 I guess it's what would also would usually be called a lack of "interestingness". Especially in a series with so little IN-GAME story exposition as Street Fighter, it just makes Ryu look very dry, compared to most of the cast.

@KaiHyouookami I won't say a gross lack of in-game story. The guys at Capcom did a good job of creating the backdrop esp on the relevant background materials. The only stupidity lies in that they dun give a flying damn to potential screw ups in-canon which will end up in retcon (Zeku says hi). That plus SF has always been known to have shit characters in terms of development barring a few, most notably Guy and Cody.

@UNSCSPARTAN058 I'm not bashing, it's just that after playing games like GG and BB, among others (heck, even KoF) the characters of Street fighter just seem that uninteresting to me. I'm not sure about SF4 but the gameplay is also a tad slower, but I'm not gonna complain about it because I've seen worse.

@artcellrox Capcom has been known to give the fuck you to their own games as well just b/c they think SF and RE are the only ones that matters the most. Darkstalkers could have gone pretty far. Ditto for Rival Schools as well. (ironically the two have way stronger plotline than SF not to mention VS gameplay was pretty advance for it's time)

@artcellrox Well, I'll go one step further and call Capcom out to be JP's answer to EA. also I'll have to say that for a fighting game, RS series was especially well thought out. This is evident in the Project Justice episode where Capcom decided to be a bunch of assholes by saying "yeah we're gonna throw that one out lol!" despite a lot of stuff that can be done for the plotline and gameplay. DS was a greater screwjob tho in the same areas. :(

I agree, they should like have Ishiwatari help out in mainstream Street Fighter games, like he did some work in Marvel vs. Capcom 3, they should first: reboot Street Fighter, second: do two sequels, and last: a sub-series with a new character who's Ryu's apprentice all with graphics like Guilty Gear.

@burning255 Ragna can't win Sol upon the merit of his Azure. Shit was a half assed failure b/c Terumi had the real deal. And even then, it's very likely that he bailed the fight when Ragna did the Idea Engine if there's anything to go by from his infiltration to Takamagahara. And lastly, it's very hard to kill him. Only surefire way will be to kill Saya due to the observer bs. :S
