  • @Harveyrex23 he lifts heavy. If you notice it says pre game workout he is lifting light cause he is just getting loose and ready to push people around in the paint.

  • I don't think basektball players should lift so heavy. All that muscle and weight could slow them down and lose explosiveness along the way. What Joakim Noah is doing in terms of his workouts is appropriate. He isn't lifting too much. It appears that he's focusing more on muscular endurance rather than building mass.

    he is training both explosion strength (much heavy) and endurance strength ( lighter weight) to be strong and athletic, this is the muscles basketball player should have. they are not supose to be to heavy, unlike a football player who tacle other players but weight is important. . he is in better shape than i tought:):) when it comes to strength

  • If you notice the title of this video says pre game workout which means you lift light weights to get ur muscles goin you don't wanna do a complete workout before a game

  • besides, i'd rather be lean than have too much muscle. i played with some dudes who were yoked as hell but had no coordination or skill.

  • just because someone isn't bulky doesn't mean they're not strong. guys like Joakim and Pau Gasol are lean and long but can hang in the paint with anybody.

  • @aatifshakur He's maintaining his strength and avoiding injury. Its very necessary for someone who plays 82 games in a season. He's not trying to build muscle during season.
