at first glance this looks pretty good, but, check out the sword swinging, i've played games with that kind of attitude; It's redundant, awkward, and lame. Then when it showed the thing with the dragon, check out how awesome it looked when the character transformed and then those fireballs coming out... again after awhile it becomes redundant time consuming, painstakingly lame to target and get to opponents.

Disappointing game. The quality I'd expect is much greater. Actually, in Divine Divinity I had lots of fun and still would take it over the new "Divinitiy 2". Unfortunately Larian got commercialized. For example - the user interface is extremely clumsy - couldn't you make it so that a double click on the save slot would save it? Why do I have to click "Save"?? At the conversations: Why when there are, say 3 dialog options, when I press zero, or other number out of the options range it autoselect

@Chacanin032 There is a lot of save glitches in this game, So it will often freeze in the middle of a load, or a save, or even overwrite your save progress, you may have to start over with a new save file, and if that is the case save your progress as much as you can to ensure it wont overwrite all of the hard work. But hopefully you were able to get past it.

When you are human ingame, can you fight against many enemies at the same time? (i mean when you attack.. and around you stand 3 enemies, are they all hit or just one targeted?)

i hate that when you can only fight against one enemy but there are loads of them around you -.- I want action ! :D

Well, you can like hit the 1st enemy once, then strike the second, the third, then perform for example a jump attack at the first again and then do a special attack which hits all the 3. It's even possible to use poisoned arrows and stuff, but you hae to develop your character yourself, spend skill points etc.

Kill them then go upstairs and in one of the rooms there is a lever which reveals a vail. Also search for the book im not sure were it is but its in the room. Next give the book to the libarien ghost and get his book then, collect the dragon scales and then read the book you collected and the dragon will turn human. Kill the guy and progress

The graphical style Divinity 2 has looks badass, that was my first thought when I saw it. A lot of dorkboys who can't get laid whine about the particle effects and shit but to me the graphics have this real charm and I think the game looks good especially once you reach Sentinel Island and you see those Dragon's flying everywhere above you I thought that looked pretty cool and sharp on a high-res LCD display.

Divinity 2 is definitely better than DAO in my opinion, but i think Risen is better. Both are great, and I enjoyed it's predecesors, but Piranha Bytes (Developer of Gothic I & II and it's true sequel, Risen) has that magic touch that makes me enjoy it's games so much.

I remember that I played Gothic II on 2006 and I couldn't sleep nor leave my room for 2 days, then I realized I was addicted and finished the game ASAP. And no, I'm not a big fat nerd, that stuff rarely happens.

I got Risen a month before Divinity 2 came out in Europe and the combat ruined a lot for me and I played Gothic II back in 2006 aswell and that game was epic I agree on that one. A lot more fun than Risen was, Fable stole a lot of elements from that series. I also liked the setting more than the "tropical island" theme of Risen which didn't appeal to me that much.

Divinity 2 reminds me more of RPG's I enjoyed in the past such as The Witcher, the combat is good too atleast it's fun unlike DAO.

I agree that Risen's location was not that appealing, and the combat could have been much much better. I guess that if you put graphics aside, Gothic II would be the best. Anyway, Divinity 2 is truly great, but I think they could have done a much better job with the sountrack, as they did with Divine Divinity. They should have hired Kirill Pokrovsky (the compser).

Dragon Age Origins is a solid game, basically an updated Baldur's Gate.
