Nice little movie. Saw it on TV today for the first time. Good character development. Just goes to show how very different people, can eventually become caring friends. Even with the ton of baggage and problems these characters seem to have. The onlyy thing I didn't like was it seemed the two guys always had a cigarette in thier mouth. . .

the Railroad Station scenes were shot in Newfoundland new Jersey...the train store scenes were shot in Rockaway New Jersey...the Bridge scene where they are eating jerky...was filmed just off of rt 46 in Knowlton Twp New Jersey...great movie

I just recently rented this movie because I saw Peter Dinklage on 30 Rock, and I was like, whoa, who's that guy? I eventually had to buy the DVD because it effected me so emotionally that I found it hard to give the rented copy back to netflix. I loved this movie on so many levels. (a. peter's a cutie. b. patricia's so naturally beautiful. c. raven's so like some of the kids i grew up with. d. bobby cannavale looks just like my brother, and the character joe has his personality.) <3 WEEZER

one of my favorite things to do...was spring this movie on a friend who grew up in rockaway...they had no knowledge of the movie...you should have seen their jaw drop...the place where the cast eats beef jerky is a favorite secret sopt of mine that i have a couple of beers with my buddies i was shocked to see anyone else knew of it...enjoy...

the movie was filmed in rockaway twp nj...and the actual railroad station is in Newfoundland NJ...along the tracks of the New York Susquehanna+Western railroad...other locations around northwestern nj were used also...you will notice that...some Morristown & Erie trains are seen also...there is also some ex Morris County Central equipment visible also...thanks...and enjoy
