We are going to perform this song during our towns Art Festival as part of our show, which is mostly secular music - we have to remain non offensive to our demographic. It was at my Father's funeral today and we read out the Lords Prayer as part of the service and I nearly laughed out loud because of a memory I suddenly had about my Dad, my brothers and I laughing until our faces and sides hurt mocking Cliff's dramatic hand claps and MJ-esque fist clenches. that moment in the pew holding back the giggles like a naughty school boy was much needed, so thanks Cliff me old boy :)

We are going to perform this song during our towns Art Festival as part of our show, which is mostly secular music - we have to remain non offensive to our demographic. This song however crosses a divide between those of just about any religious faith and those who are not particularly religious. I thought it appropriate. Thank you for your thought. :) ~ Tom

Obviously Cliff is asking God to forgive the sins of all those who have caused the many atrosoties that have and are happening in our world. It was at my Father's funeral today and we read out the Lords Prayer as part of the service and I nearly laughed out loud because of a memory I suddenly had about my Dad, my brothers and I laughing until our faces and sides hurt mocking Cliff's dramatic hand claps and MJ-esque fist clenches. that moment in the pew holding back the giggles like a naughty school boy was much needed, so thanks Cliff me old boy :)
