This is great I just bought a home with a flagstone walk that wasn't finished, you made it easy to understand now I'm looking forward to doing this. Thanks this was a great video
it is a great video. he is very good. A word of caution to the inexperienced though. Make sure you have a good stone to shape or you risk shattering it. Check with your stone yard as to what is workable and what is not. The composition of each type of stone varies greatly.
This is a great video, just what I needed to know. Love that he suggested using DIY tools that everybody has around. I'd love to see a follow up with a mason's chisel. Great job!
kicking video! thanks for the tips. I just started a flagstone patio, and i was using a diamond blade saw to score it, then break, and rough up the edge. But iI love the natural look of yours .... thanks!!!
Love it! Precise and down to earth, interesting and a great personality. It's nice to see someone who knows what they are doing giving instruction. Show is more, Thanks!
Thanks for the precise and detailed instruction on how to cut flagstone. I loved the way you made those ragged pieces of flagstone look at the end. About anyone can lay flagstone down to make a path, but it takes a craftsman to make a walk.
That was cool. I do quite alot of stone shaping myself but seldom use an ordinary claw hammer, I'll give that a go on my next pond job. Thanks. You kind of remind me of Bob Ross from the Joy of Painting with your clear concise instructions and your relaxed tone. Check out my humble efforts on my channel.
not a bad video for some one that cuts with a claw hammer you do know some basics ....and your finished product came out nice
