Just go to the stage door (with a Sharpie) and there will be barricades set up that you wait outside of... You usually have to wait a while, but be there right after the show ends... YOu don't wanna miss anybody!

Thanks so much for watching the video! :D Haha, have TONS of fun seeing it, it's a great show. :D I saw it twice while it was in LA. Yes, I saw the nighttime show both times and then sprinted to the stage door. I was one of the first few people there both times. :D I dunno, I've heard that the stage doors on Broadway are ridiculously crowded, so you should probably try to get there as soon as possible after the show. Let me know how it goes! :D

do you know if its better to stage door at a matinee or a night show? im doing one of each in august. one wicked and one 9 to 5 on a wednesday. i want to stage door 9 to 5, so which time should i see that one? any reccomendations?

It's always better to stage door at night shows, because more of the actors/actresses come out. Often, very few actors come out after matinees. I would highly recommend the night show if you want to stage door.

if i go to an evening show on a wednesday (so there will have been a matinee already) do you know if it is more or less likely that all three of them will actually be performing???

In general, it's more likely that the leads will perform at evening shows. You're just more likely to get a standby or understudy during a matinee. Evening shows are the way to go! :D

Quite the opposite, actually. Most hold back during the matinee to save themselves for the evening show. That's when they tend to give their all. No prob. :)

I have seen several matinees, and only gotten like 1 understudy, so Both are wonderful... And I have staged doored at every matinee I have seein, and mostly all of the actors and actressess come out... ALL of the leads have always come out, so you should be fine for both, unless someone is not feeling well...

When I went to see 9 to 5 Megan Hilty, Stephanie J Block and Marc Kudisch came out but not Allison Janney and that was a Sunday matinee so i'm not sure about a weekday show. I think you'll have better luck at the evening show! Have fun! Its a GREAT show!

Omygosh, Stephanie is the nicest, kindest person ever! She was so friendly and said the sweetest things to me. She even stayed for a minute to talk with my parents a bit, and she didn't seem to be rushing at all. She seemed perfectly ok to take time with each and every fan as she went down the line. She smiled and talked with each and every one of them (from what I could see). :D

Well, since they were still in previews, the cast had a meeting after the performance, so they took WELL over an hour to come out. When SJB finally came out, she said, "Wow! I can't believe you guys waited!" :D Yeah, I'd say there were plenty of people stage dooring. :D Nothing like at the Pantages for Wicked though. That line is insane...
