Joking apart, I must say it's neat how the 'pixie' dust, sparkly star thingies, call them what you will never go across your cat but always behind !

It's a neat little experiment. See, if you look carefully when it goes behind the cat, it sort of makes the background look completely 2D, but the cat shows some form of depth. Some kind of mental 3D perception thing. The brain expects you to see the sparkly thingies go over the cat as it's layed on a 2D image, but it goes behind. It's a subtle 3D effect.
