Overclocked M11x R1 Fraps: Bad Company 2, Crysis, TF2

Did you have to to the vidMod to get to 2ghz?

I am .9 voltage right now and the most I can do is 1.8ghz without crashing.

Sorry, I'm a bit of an idiot. When you disconnected pin 14 or used the 10k resistor, to unlock the TME how did you the overclock further? If you used netbook forums, I really don't know where to go and how to use setPLL. Didyou use the R2 link as the TME is unlocked? Help!!! Thanks Kim Xx

@MissKimMeade All I do is setpll -read then setpll AlienwareM11xR1 320 and it overclocks it. If I neglect the read, the system hard crashes and I have to pull the battery out.

If this is the r1 how did you oc your cpu past 1.7 ot is this the i3 model?

@ryans00account You can overclock the c2d one to 2ghz if you pinmod it which means opening it up and messing with the motherboard ;)
