As far as melody, you can maybe try to play lines further down the fretboard, playing "across" the strings to get your notes, since you've got a C# at the second fret of your middle string. They do have temporary frets you can get that stick on your fretboard, to see if you like the extras!
lol I forgot about the second string. I like that temporary fret Idea, I didn't know, like getting temporary hair color or temporary perm (hehe), I'll google them.
