we do need a legit standardized gamepad for the ipad it would make the more hardcore games like dead space, sports games, 9mm, all those top line ipad games must easier to control with physical buttons
@timb1986 They connect to the ground on the arduino. Actually, I'm working on a second version without the servos and simulating touches just by manipulating this connection. :)
Fun! It's a shame to introduce any latency though. Surely all these different devices should just have USB ports and open APIs for controllers... Arbitrary limitations suck. Manufacturers should give people the facility to use devices however they want. We're just going to hack it anyway, otherwise.

this is pretty cool, but it defeats the purpose of having a remote to control ur ipad, it blocks the screen and thats what people don't want.
