@Xackadee She is only in the movie during flashbacks and one other scene. She's hardly in it. The reason she's shown so much in the trailer is because she was originally suppossed to have a bigger role (including going to Helm's Deep) and Liv Tyler got third billing. After they rewrote and reshot her scenes, she had a smaller role, but they still needed to make her seem more important in the trailers for liv's sake.
Arwen should have been in Helm's Deep... as originally planned and shot.... even if it was not one the books... it would have made her role much more interesting specially in this second part of the trilogy....

@themenaceanish if you only like a movie because of action than you are really missing the whole point of movies. they are stories that try to interest you and have characters that you like and want to succeed in what they're doing. look at some of the most successful movies of all time like, Casablanca, Gone With The Wind, Citizen Cane, E.T, Titanic, Forest Gump, etc. they don't have any action but are still some of the most successful movies. you probably think the star wars prequels are good.

@themamo0 They originally filmed that bit of footage for Two Towers, but removed it because of the time constraints and because it fit better in Return of the King anyway. Also, the beginning few minutes of RotK, where we see how Gollum became Gollum, was supposed to be in Towers, but was removed because of time. It was supposed to be during the scene where Frodo says, "That was your name once, a long time ago."
@themamo0 Often they put together the trailers before the movies are fully completed and edited, so they may not have known if that scene was going to be in The Two Towers or The Return of the King. (the movies were all filmed at this point though) but that's just my best guess. I don't actually know why.

@timmmy99 Basically the allegiance between Saruman the former White Wizard and Sauron of Mordor. Each have their own ancient towers as their main strongholds. Saruman has Isengard, Sauron has Barad-Dur, nasty team up.

its called the two towers because saruman is using a seeing stone called the palantir to communicate mentally from his tower orthanc direct to sauron in his tower baradur

I still remember when i was like 8 years old and i watched this movie on the theater and i nearly pissed my pants since the start of the movie but i didnt want to go to the bathroom because i didnt want to miss any second of the movie !

HELL YES!!! they used Requiem for a Dream as the song. Best instrumental song ever made. And it fit this so well because this is the best movie trilogy EVER!!!

Did anyone actually feel exhausted from watching The Two Towers in a good way I mean. It felt as though I was in that battle for Helms Deep and I felt somewhat tired after the battle had ended. Any film that can do this deserves two thumbs up..
