  • eric dover rocks...this guy should velvet revolver new singer

  • waaaww imaginen ese tema cantado por axl....quedaria mejor todavia...

  • The first snakepit album is honestly amazing. You guys have to pick it up. Slash is totally hammered here though.. That's the sloppiest I've seen him play.. Whoahh

  • this singer is better than myles kennedy.

    Slash fucking great solo

  • @33COOLMAN33 Eric Dover is a great singer and better guitar player ( he plays with Alice Cooper for many years). Rock On!!

  • No, Axl sucks. Dover got a much better voice.

  • Imagine that song with Axl's voice, they were working on that tune.

  • Tuborg Live? I love Tuborg! Well, I love beer. Cheers! Great song!

  • snakepit is hte best from slash, even (dont kill me for this) better than GNR, just 2 disc! 2! two! and .. well, is so complete!s perfect both styles!

  • Amazing Eric dover...

  • Slash rocks. Nobody can compare to his style and emotion. Props to Slash. Seen him live with VR about 7 years ago in Detroit and he rocked the house. Slash is just awesome. One of the greatest.

  • lol slash was so stoned, his hands were like in slow motion

  • 5:03 = LISTEN TO HEAVEN

  • props to kennedy. but when it comes to over all character and texture immore into Dover singing

  • he's highh :L

  • probably too fucked up to paly!!! lulz great song anyway

  • Love This Song

  • Really not a fan of Eric Dover at all, but Slash's guitar was greeeeeeat, as usual. Cannot wait until August 11th. :)

  • Eric Dover is fuckin bad ass!!!! ....By far the best singer that slash has worked with. I dont know why he left but him and Slash need to work shit out and make some more kick ass music.

  • @tgod72 i think that myles kennedy sings better than him...

  • Is it just me to think this way or the second guitar (is it gilby clark or something like that) is not enought good to play with slash & company?

  • @charlixtube Yeaa its Gilby :))

  • @charlixtube i think that the second guitar compliment Slash a lot.

  • Rock Of Rock...!!!

  • slash sounds like hes sick lol!

  • @Efforts1 dude he's just high

  • anyone halve his festival aon mp3 or something so i can download it?

  • Lol. I wouldn't be throwing stones if I was into what you are .

  • Fucking great song!

  • is it just me or does he say "hi mom" at 2:56 or 2:57?

  • @guitarmaniac1123 hah he does man!!

  • he does.

  • One of Slash's best solos ever. I just can't stop thinking what this song would have been if Axl was there, it would have been BIG, believe me, but i guess we'll never know, fuck me haha

  • I don't think Axl would sing this type of lyrics...

    Maybe they change the lyrics...

  • i like it more than velvet revolver but both bands are great :D

  • they have some absolutely great songs on Its 5 o'clock Somewhere....I Hate Everybody But You, Doin' Fine, just great songs

  • I agree with you dude...actually, both Snake Pit CDs were really good! "Ain't Life Grand" was awesome! I saw them in concernt when they were supporting the AC/DC tour in 2000 and I was blown away! Of course, the crowd went nuts when they played "Mr. Brownstone," but the CD was still good.

  • sweet...is it just me, or does the riff of Mr. Brownstone seem a lot like Walk This Way?? i know Aerosmith influenced GNR a lot, but its pretty close 2 Walk This Way

  • ye, if u read the biography watch u bleed they say that he borrowed joes signature riff from that song

  • cool....Watch U Bleed is a GNR biography?

  • ye its pretty good, has alot of stuff in it

  • u ever read Reckless Road?

  • nah man but i heard its supposeldy really good with lots of photos and shit

  • man its fukkin awesome lotta sweet photos funny stories & has their first 50 gigs documented

  • sweet deal, is it in chapters?

  • well its sequenced its starts out with Slash borrowing Steven Adlers grandmas guitar, goes 2 slashs high school bands, covers everybody getting 2gether, so on & so on

  • lol i meant the store but that does sound like a cool set up haha

  • o my bad lol

  • haha fail

  • " hi mom " :D

  • haha i love it

  • sorry but hes not a good singer in my opinion :S , but the album rocks, especially this song and Be the ball

  • Jesus, one not so good recording, do a little background first. Eric Dover is extremely talented, from his days as guitarist in Jellyfish to stepping in as a frontman in Snakepit. A phenominal singer in the style of Steven Tyler. An incredible musician from Frisco. F*****n great singer.

  • fuckin good song !

  • one of my fave songs ever! i love it!

  • Why the thumbs down? Like that's a bad thing. He does sound a little like Rod Stewart. Rod Stewarts later stuff was a bit gay fair enough, but his older shit is awesome.

The Faces were brilliant.. And so is Eric Dover. :)

  • eric dover is a little more raspy than rod stewart was though. but yea, their voices definitely sound a lot alike.

  • Eric Dover sounds a little like Rod Stewart

  • Isn't it Eric Dover saying Hi mom

  • i am agree with haydenwce27 but the old GNR would be better. Or if you could put steven tayler or someone in. The old GNR without AXL with IZZY Stradlin singing and playing 2 guitar

  • who and why says "hi mom"??

  • it's eric, and probs because his mom is in the audiance

  • i wish eric dover would sing for VR

  • thats what ive been sayin!!

  • Great that Gilby "was allowed" to play solo / slide guitar, would have been impossible with GN'R!

  • i think that towards the end of the band GN'R was all about axl... i don't think they even thought about the rythem guitarist plying a solo i mean the only time gilby played solo with gnr was in tokyo for 40 secs... axl had to sing in any given minuet and the band broke up because of his ego

  • This is one of my favorite snakepite song ever!!!

  • It is mine favorite song by snakepit, but My michelle is a litle better. Civil war is about as good like this

  • my michelle and civel war are by guns n roses

  • Yah i know.. I also written that this was my favorite song by slash's snakepit. I just said that the my michelle is better and civil war as good as this.

  • I wished eric would have stayed in the band he and slash is great together

  • FUCKING GREAT BAND

  • slash is a god

  • hi mom! WTF??? LOOOL

  • 5:45

is that 6-string on both necks???

    wtf??

  • no, the top one is, but the bottom is electric

  • he didn't say the bottom wasn't electric, he asked if they were both 6 strings. and yes, they are.

  • One is acoustic one is electric

  • hi mom?

  • ThEric Dover shouldve been the lead singer for the 2nd Snakepit album...good singer...where is he now??????

    Jabt

  • i agree dude, im not into rod jackson as much as eric

  • Shitfaced somewhere thats for sure.

  • if only that guy sang for velvet revolver...

  • gilby clarke gr8 guitarest!!

  • Slash's Snakepit. Love them.

I don't want to make a similary with Velvet revolver or Guns N' Roses, but It's Five O Clock is one of the best Slash's album and certainly of rock.

  • this is unbelievable

  • yeah the singer sounds exactly the same as in the studio, he has incredible range, i love velvet revolver but scott weilands voice is getting wrecked from his addiction, and doesnt sound quite the same live anymore, but i still love them

  • yeah, i agree. i love velvet revlover too, and scott's a gd singer, but does not cut it with velvet revolver in my opinion. and no offence (and i'll probably get some shit for this) acts like a gay on stage

  • damn this transends reality

  • I just learned this solo! Took me years but i did it, this songs rocks waaay too much!

  • the singer is very much like steven tyler, anybody agree?

  • you're right they sing very similar

  • for me looks like robert plant from led zeppelin

  • Hi mom! haha

  • where is matt sorum?

  • matt sorum wasnt the original drummer for snakepit and the guy here is the original but im not sure on his name

  • no its the other way around, matt was original this guy took matts place

  • Yep Matt left and Brian Tichy and James Lomenzo on bass joined the band after quiting Pride & GLory

  • i like slash's snake pit more than velvet revolver. anyone agree with me?

  • yeah...

    weiland is stupid faggot

  • i agree, its five oclock somewhere is definitely one of the most solid alums ive ever heard, and velvet revolver just hasnt made an album near standing up to it

  • i,ve seen both twice got all the albums totally agree snakepits first lineup were fuckin amazing, raw you know?

  • sounds alot like bad company

  • this song if fuckin amazing

  • nice song.

  • VERY NICE

  • Sweet song!!!

  • sweet guitar

  • hey guys

i`m looking fpr detailed tab of the solo back and forth again.

i`m looking in internet but solo is not complete.

    i want full detailed tab.

    thank you

  • i know i already said this but omg this solo is one of the best things ever written

  • Gilby did some nice lil fills in there too! What a great band!

  • its sad that lots of these SP songs would have been GNR songs if Axl hadnt been a butt. They are such great songs, and just got no attention because they were 'just a side project'. I like how Slash talks more in between songs with SP, and the singer is having fun, which makes the whole show more fun to watch I think.

  • yeah, those are fucking great songs... i love "It's five o' clock somewhere" :D

but i can't really imagine axl singing this song.. eric dover is just perfect for it ;)

  • yeah that is a breath taking solo

  • this song is fuckin amazing! tht solo is classic slash FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!

  • this is fuckin sick, one of the best rock songs ever

  • Thanks for putting this up, i love this song and this version of it is really good

  • whos saying hi mom

  • solo is amazing. very sterotypically of slash's style. and there sure as hell aint nothign wrong with that.

got to love the guild acoustic double neck taht he designed as well.

  • Just like the friends above, probably one of the best slow songs ever from Slash. Solo is fantastic!

  • Who's screaming "yeah" at the end of the video? Eric Dover or Slash?

  • Dover

  • i agree the solo is one of the best slash has ever wrote

  • My favourite song of all time so so underated

  • Freakin' spectacular! One of my favorite Snakepit songs :) Thanks for posting it.
