First of all i think they were trying too hard to relate it to sm64, but thats good :). Secondly, Nintendo should really stop removing things and just keep it and find a way to keep it in. This is the case for most bosses cause they believe that it is too "hard", nintendo should really get the facts that most gamers out here think that their games are too EASY! So nintendo, please KEEP EVERYTHING WE SEE IN THE BETAS. How much you wanna bet stuff in SM3DS Beta wont be in the final game? Just See!

Really like Mario's hat falling as he falls too! Graphically some things were removed/simplified but I guess in the end they aren't that useful in terms of function. Here's to another entry in the NSMB series on the 3DS!

the jump at 00:17 is used in New Super MArio Bros. Wii as Double Jump and the jump at 0:23 is the Toads' Triple Jump

The Grassland reminds me to the good old Gameplay 2005, the only descent game event in The Netherlands.

To bad Gameplay (or Gamelife, later on) quit.

Only the part to that "Balloon Mushroom" where the Giant Goomba is gave me hard times, since that Mushroom got inside the block every time.

The game looked more like a Super Mario World remake in the beta stages. Some of these elements include:

Mario's Hat

The abundance of Whomps and Thwomps

The animation for the lava pools

Some of the elements from the beta still remain the main game itself, such as (from super mario wiki) ground-pounding blue shells to obtain the Shell ability in VS. Mode.

in the beta version this game looked more Super Mario 64 but in the final they changed to look more like the classics
