  • what type of accordion should i get to play corridos and norteñas?

  • what type of accordion should i use for corridos and norteñas?

  • You can use a 5 row chromatic accordion just like mine if you want, but most players, Ramon Ayala, Los Tigres del Norte norteno groups use a 3 row diatonic, Aniceto Molina cumbia use the same box, 3 row diatonic.

  • what accordion should i use for playing norteño, cumbia and corridos?

  • awesome awesome man thank u so much for putting up this vid.

  • what kinda of music do you like ?

  • Someone help me ima buy a regular accordion but I need lessons so if anyone know plz tell me appreciate it :)

  • Orale!

  • I think Juan villareal plays this accordion too, he rocks it!

  • ey man i want to start a grupo to play corridos i want to play the accordion what a accordion do u think i should get ive never played one before so im looking for a simple one can u help me?

  • @897335jc You need to probably get a Hohner Panther, they have 3 rows of buttons, 31 buttons. My box is a bit new to Mexican Raza. If you decide to get a box like mine, you will be differet than many other players, besides Oskar Hernandez an David Lee Garza. Its a rare breed but you can play some corridos on this box.

  • my lil sister she 16 is starting a conjunto norteno with a sax & a tuba & she wants to know whats the best accordion she can get to play all types of songs cumbias &corridos. would it be the chromatic or the diatonic.

  • @BELLAD3COPANDARO Most cumbia an norteno players use a 3 row diatonic accordion, get a Hohner brand, I have seen a lot of females use piano accordions as well that are made by Hohner.

  • @hardcorechicano yea itold her but she doesnt like the piano one my dad took her &she wants the button one the said it wuz chromatic & she has in her head she wants to be like ramon ayala lol well thanx anyways(:

  • Hell yeah!!!! go Houston :)

  • am having hard time understanding 1ra 2das 3ras in the songs if starting a song in fa tono what would the tones be. if anyone can help.

  • @rebelso1560 , Do, Re , Mi, Fa, Sol, La , Ti or all called keys, or "notes" .....3rds, means that you are pushing to buttons down at the same time, preferably the way I am showing in the video, but it sounds like you are playing a different box, mabe you have a diatonic accordion? 3rds, 5ths, 6ths, all look a little different....

  • GOOD LOOKIN OUT PLAYA

  • @hardcorechicano

Wassup man I'm searching for the wright accordion to fulfill my corrido needs but I'm confused with theese different types of accordions.. What's the difference between a chromatic a diatonic? What accordion is best for the type of music I want to play? Ayudeme compa de la H

  • @edgar310compton , The diatonic accordion is a different key when you squeeze an pull 1 button, the chromatic accordion button doesnt change key when pulling or squeezing a button. Most corridos or played on a diantonic accordion mostly by ear or tabs.

  • hey can someone please help me!! i have an accordion and it only has 12 bass buttons and i dont know what it's called! if anyone knows the name of this type of accordion please tell me :)

also, i play piano (grade 5) and am self taught on guitar, drums and bass and i really wanted to learn the accordion so could anyone give me some tips? thanks!

  • @Simpsonfreak1 Well, it sounds like you have a 31 button accordion, also called diatonic. You should have 31 buttons on you right an the 12 on your left. Its really hard to explain, when it comes to the bass you may needa teacher, but first try learning a song with your right hand. I dont own a 3 row accordion but if I did, I could probably help ya.

  • @hardcorechicano Thank you so much!! :)

  • You mentioned the "five finger system" do you have a book that teaches the Chromatic B-System? Is it in English and where could I find one?

  • @Zac360TURN @Zac360TURN I have not found a book for the B-system but I think I know a guy who might have one but it may be in Russian. Of course I just realized they are real precise about the bass clef, so you really have to pay attention to the bass clef. I bought some Russian polkas from the guy a while back. I am ganna emai him right now to see if he has a B-system book.

  • great videos man.

  • HEY HARDCORECHICANO!!! I live in a town call burnet in the hill country in texas and i saw your video lesson and let me tell you man that you do know how to teach, now i dont know if its possible if you can teach live, now when i say live is as in person as a personal teacher if you do please can you reply back. i've been looking for lessons all over the net and it's been hard to find a real good teacher.

  • I can only show you how to read music for Piano, accordion, diatonic accordion, an my chromatic accordion, but I cant show you all the crazy tricks that some people can do, I live in the HOOD of southwest Houston.

  • You need to become a member on the Reyes Accordion websight, you can find tabs an people willing to help you,

Hay , no mas Tejano, porque ellos no quiero hablar espanol, y ellos no queiro canta...I am the last mexican in my familia, todos descansar....

  • Hello, Thanks for the videos.

You should try to stick to the 3 first rows whether in C or in B.

  • @hugarupitopopotaries I am trying, Im actually thinking of buying a 4 row, because , I have not used the 5th row at all, mabe it will be lighter.

  • vallenato puto

  • Yo toca todo's mootherfucker! Si , yo hablar espanol tambien, pero , tu no tiene respecto, para la arte! Yo toca, cumbia y vallenato, bitch!

  • Mexicans cants play a good vallenato

    everyone knows that

stick to your polka broncero bullshit

  • @CheezyDonSenior , I dont talk bad about Raza, only someone like you has that kind of hate. I have friends that or Columbian, Boricua an Mexican, in my book we are all Latino, but mabe your not Hispanic at all??? You just want to make us look bad? I love all kinds of Latin music.

  • is it hard to learn? because i listen to tejano music and i love the accordion its one of my favorite instruments ive always back away because it looks to hard.

  • @subcomandante23 I am a real Tejanito as I speak, my family ha lived in Texas for way over 100 years, but the greatest advice I can give you is that you learn the different kinds of accordions first, there are at leats 4 major kinds of boxes, Bandoneon, Diatonic, Chromatic, an Piano.

  • Thank you so much, I just want to keep the accordion music alive! Hopefully this video will inspire people to play more an because I didnt show anybody the black buttons, hopefully there will be some people playing with percussion....

  • I'm a professional trumpet player and I teach kids how to play instruments, you did a great job. I'm currently trying to learn accordion. Just for the hell of it. But I just wanted to tell you I thought you did a good job showing us.

  • WOW! I like your instructional videos! They are great!

  • Great lesson

    Bengt

  • thanks alot broo

    thanks for takin the time

  • Does the left hand bass side play like a piano accordion or is it diatonic? I really want a chromatic, they look cool. I may eventually get a small 2 row diatonic that belonged to my great-grandfather but that won't be anytime soon.

  • Yes, the bass is the same as your piano accordion, standard stradella, of course my black hohner is a 96 bass an the green b system is a 120 bass, they make 2, 3, 4, 5, an 6 row chromatic accordions...

  • what a wonderful introduction to the B griff and C griff systems.

  • Keep playing that thing, man.

I love to hear the accordian!

do you drive a honda accord? lol

  • thanks Zac , well...i hope that someone will watch this video an become even better than i, because i made this video so that the accordion music can live forever......I think i was suposed to say b sharp instead of b flat? lol! i think they get the point!

  • Great job man. You remind me so much about a info-mercial people. I never had a teacher either!
