I'm having much difficulty in finding information. Can anyone tell me the story behind this song? I'd be extremely grateful!
Lacey is telling two stories. The first story is of a girl who is sick and her sickness has no cure, and on top of that, everyday, it seems to get worse. You'd think that she has no hope and all of her faith is lost, but she still thanks God for every day that he gives her.
The second story is that a boy has been praying for his mom to get better, but she still died. And this should be his greatest reason to give up his faith, but instead, he thanks God for ending her pain.
