Im in 2 minds about disney remaking this if they are remaking it. I think the beatles wanted this film originally to be more of a straight disneyish cartoon for kids but the films director and art production team sort of made it a bit psychadelic and weird. Most kids wouldent enjoy this film really if they were shown it today i was sort of scared of it when i first say it when i was 9 years old gave me nightmares for weeks.

IMO this film is a work of art, and to remake it would be like "remaking" the Mona Lisa or the Sistine Chapel. Besides, some things are so surreal that they only work in 2D. (Like the fact that Glove's fingers are facing the camera regardless of which way he's pointing!) This is also my objection to the live-action Dr. Seuss films...

Other than permitting the use of their names, their personalities and their music, the Beatles really didn't have much to do with creating this film. The speaking voices of their cartoon counterparts were done by voice actors, not the Beatles themselves.
