this game has some of the worst and stupidly placed checkpoints ever

if the characters have been talking for 3mins instead of giving you a checkpoint after all that they put it right before it and everytime you die you have to listen to it again

most games if i die in an area right before a checkpoint i keep trying even after 15 tries of the same area because i am starting right there in this game after the 3rd or 4th try i'm like screw this shit!!

Possibly one of the hardest solo fights in Gears History next to the final push through the courtyard in Gears 2 with the (I remember from dying) Drones, Boomers, Maulers, Wretches, and then Bloodmounts.

This part is hard on any diffculty. they weld torque bows, Gnasher shotguns and lancers.

HAmmerburst *the 6-shot brust weapon the locust use* has more firepower then the lancer. tested it. droped a boomer in 1 clip or 1/2 were it takes about 3 clips from the lancer to kill a boomer.

I just spent an hour and a half trying to kill like THREE people on this part and that was on HARDCORE! This way better work.

Every other time, the AI becomes insanely smart and hits me with the bow as soon as the cutscene stops when you see the first guard! I hate this part of the level!

Ye know what fucking sucks? Everytime you reload checkpoint, you gotta start with that whole talking again. That pisses me off so much.

I don't mind do any of the checkpoints, but when I gotta listen to them talking for 3 minutes and I just died by one of those bows that I couldn't have seen coming in hell, I'm quite impatient.

If you get stuck with a torque bow arrow, roll. If you time it right and it explodes when your not touching the ground, you'll survive. Too bad that doesn't work in multiplayer. =(

Here's a cool trick for ya. If you run around where you first picked up the torquebow it will re-spawn and you can pick up 6 more arrows for a full 12. You can also go back after you clear the station to pick up another 6. This battle rules! One of my favorite parts.

sniper rifle from long distance worked like a charm for me on insane, theres almost no way they can get you unless you get impacient aslong as you just snipe from a safe distance

That's a tough part on insane even when you are playing co-op. I've beaten the game solo, but those tips there would have come in useful. I didn't know they spawned more by moving up to early. Would have made that part a whole lot easier.
