Great video! Can you tell me how you blend different tones of the color with the brush? Do you dip it into water and scatter the paint on the painting?
1: Could you adjust the lighting a little, next time? The wet paint makes the light reflect into the camera (especially when you did the left side background.
2: Could you show the finished work for like 10 seconds at the end of the video? The video ended very abruptly now and I personally would really like to be able to see how it turned out...
That was quite good as such though, for example children would like to have a cat painting even if the painting isn't a perfect one. There was some things that could have been better, but nonetheless, it was recognisable as a cat.

Now that I read it back it sounds really negative though :P I think it looks really nice, but what we're used to seeing from you is even way better, so for you I called this a failure, but for anyone else this would be really great. I really didn't mean to offend you or anything. I've got some drawings on my other channel (channel name: BosJob) too, but you can see that I'm not even close to this. ;)
@FiendofDA I'm not saying his drawing is ugly or that you are not right, but not everyone has to agree with you, you should also accept critics. I draw a lot, and most of the people like my drawings, and some say it is a complete failure, that they wouldn't have done it this way, and of course I feel bad, but not I;m not gonna change people's minds. So once more, critics are sometimes useful, and don't forget the freedom of speech.
So glad you are putting up daily sketches like this. I missed seeing your art now I get to see it almost daily. And as always, another amazing piece of art
@TekkenRulezz this is a sketch, smartass... and with waterpaints, what kind of detail do you expect? Let me see you find someone else who can do such a thing for a half hour
I can understand why you would call something you painted a failure, I do this to myself all the time. But one thing I would like to say, as a fellow artist, is that you shouldn't see this as a failure, but as a learning experience. Take whatever it is you don't like about how this turned out and ask how you can make it different next time. That's the beauty of being an artist, you can take the artistic license and use it to your advantage. Also, I am biased: I loved this because I love kittens!
I see nothing wrong with this, besides the right eye, which can still be explained as "Disfigured". You're too hard on yourself, Chris. All of your artwork blows mine out of the water. I just like to watch you, and try to use the techniques that you do.
