I figured out slope detection. but when I use it, I can't jump.

@madvtaco: Well, you can't use slope detection while you're not on a slope. I use different states, while on the ground I find the slope and all that, while jumping I look for different types of ground and return back to the ground state if I land.

Hey, if you don't mind, i just thought up of an idea for world 4. What happens is that fancy pants comes back from world three very, very tired. He falls asleep, inches from his bed. The next day, he wakes up to find that he's in his under wear, when he remembers sleeping in his pants. He searches his room for another pair, but finds that he's been cleaned out of everything. He thinks CPG's behind it, but her room's empty. Only thing there is a scratchmark from Kabootle. Whaddya think?

I'm a Flash game designer too, and yes, I can confirm, the first few games anyone makes are horrendous. :) It's just part of the learning process. I love the fact that you've abandoned realism and just focused on pure enjoyment. I think that's what sets your games apart from the rest. I've chosen to pursue physics and mathematics until I feel I'm ready to return to regular game design. I actually made a character out of Fancy Pants Man.. At first it was a doodle, who looked like Fancy Pants Man, just has a mought and eyes, an antenna as hair and he was named him as Antenni-Ötökkä (actually my bud gave him the name, and it means "Antenna-Bug", name from the antenna hair). Later i started making comics of him, and in one ep he meets the Fancy Pants Man, with disasterific results... XD

u should make a secret door that leads to a disco dance room and on the wall it a code that makes him dance (by holding different buttons)and make him able to find, pick up, and hit spiders with a sword! =D... If u make enough worlds you can turn it into a full game on either Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA), a playsation 3 game, or even a wii game. But first make at least 6 worlds to do so (by the the franchise will be far good enough)
