Kerith couldn't tour anymore due to health issues. And Brian followed because he felt that with her gone the band was going to go in a more darker direction and that would be against Brian's beliefs.

i'm really sad about that, simply because i ADORE kerith to no end... but i understand her leaving, and brian since he is her husband and all as well. but i guess the darker stuff will be really sweet, so i guess IAG will be okay.
