  • shocking

  • Maybe it takes someone from a former Soviet bloc country to concretize rotting away in captivity with such immediacy . . .

  • Oh, I really wanted that water at the end.

  • feels so .. human. the puppet struggling to survive although it's made entirely of "decaying organic matter".

hey, I didn't say that. Brad Pitt did.

  • Um....I.....wait, what?

  • english comments and this is czech director s film. preto konecne aj sused zo slovenka nieco napise. svankmajer ma celkom dobre kratkometrazne filmy. take psycho haluze.

  • It kind of makes me think of that scene in Eraserhead where the baby kind of erupts. Except this is much less gag-inducing.

What a fantastic thirty seconds. I watched that about ten times.

  • This reminds me of vegetables.

  • Muy Bueno

  • I'd love to see a feature with someone exploring creepy buildings in an empty world full of rooms that contain strange and surreal stop-motion like this.......Oh he did that also. ALICE. Magic work check THAT out.

  • @kezadrone Alice was the first thing I saw from Svankmajer, loved it.

  • woah what was that

  • Disturbing

  • Fail! :(

  • Esquizofrenia... eso se sentira...?

  • Weird.

  • To me, it seems like this is a depiction of frustration of when you realise somthing you normally take for granted, is the one thing you need most, and for some reason you can't have it.

  • OHHH SHIIIIITTTT

  • Water your vegetables, thank you.

  • Yes!!! It seems you read in my mind!

  • hehe ;)

  • ohh es genial!

  • It reminds me of Arcimboldo!

  • Indeed, Svankmajer is very influenced by Arcimboldo in much of his work. Watch Dimensions of Dialogue and Historia Naturae to see some other prominent Arcimboldo tributes.

  • @ClavicleofSolomo

Hi im triying to find a short film that USE the paintings of arcimboldo, the paintings was moving! I watched when I was a kid in locomotion.

    Do you know his name?

  • @NadaInterior Not familiar with such a film. There aren't any Svankmajer films that animate the paintings, but the first part of Dimensions of Dialogue features animated heads very similar to the paintings, but not animated versions of the paintings themselves.

  • si, eso es lo q hacemos a diario con el planeta

  • muy bueno

  • increible, muy bueno.
