Trust me people in the summer and when I'm all tanned up because I can't keep out of the sun as I swim sooo much I get approached by about 5 guys and that's when I dark and supposedly beautiful but when I'm pale like I am know I get at least 3 guys per day so if it's guys your worried about then dont the ones I know like pale :)

I can't believe that with all the proof that tanning causes cancer, people still do it. Tanning needs to be banned to protect the people who think skin cancer will never affect them. Ditto! Even when I vacation, I reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours. I still apply it every 4 hours whether rain or shine if I'm outside. I live in Chicago, so we get pretty sunny, hot weather so people are always tanning. It's not as common to have as pale a skin as ours probably is in the states. : ) But I work at Sephora and at least once a week I get people complimenting me saying I look like Rose McGowan or Julian Moore and how pretty my skin is. The best part is I'll stay looking good longer!

I am shocked that they are not wearing eye protection. Don't they know uv exposure can cause corneal burns? Night blindness?

Every sunbed/tanning unit has a warning sticker on to say to wear goggles.

The uv light passes through eyelids as the skin is not thick enough to protect the eyes.

If they are going to tan, they should protect their eyes at least. Surely as experienced tanners they should know the risks of tanning without eyewear.

i use to work in a tanning salon and they had a bed called the ORBIT and it is a little more expensive but it filters the uvb rays i think like 98% and it tans you four times faster. i am a little tanarexic lol!
