if no one is doing an event, say char are overtaking a building, if the char overtake the building will the event become unavailable to do?? also if you join in with an event just as it fails if you had a quest do you have to go and get the quest again? then come back when the event restarts?

@thef00ddude Dude there is no "get a quest" in this game, you walk around and find these events and you play in them, thats the quest system in this game. And events run in cycles like once per week or every 3 days or something like that. you can always experience that event from the start or something like that.

@TheInternalVirus Watch the PAX interview panels with the development teams and someone asked the same question as you. The lead designer or something said that events will run in chains, and when the chain ends, It will repeat itself after a set period of time.

I am positive about it. he even said that if events wouldn't repeat, they would need to create events on daily basis to satisfy the millions of players, which would require over 10,000 game designers to do so =P

so he was level 40, how high are the levels going to go? I liked that the original guild wars was only 20 levels. Didn't feel like wow where you get to grind for three weeks of game time. I really dont like grinding, but I also do like having a high level character. Mixed feelings about the higher level cap. Anyone know anything about this?

@stomponyourtail In this game, unlike wow leveling will be fun. There will be more events and unlike wow this games combat is active and feels fluid. I am excited that we can level up 80 times that is 4 times more fun than the first guild wars!!! thumbs up if you agree.

I don't understand how dying has any point now that the game is instanced. In GW1, dying during a quest or mission would mean you'd have to start over again. Here, you can just respawn near the event and keep going.
