@iPwnL96z that dagger is called the "blade of woe" first you have to be a part of the dark brother hood SPOILER do the quests untill you get up to the part when the brother hood gets attacked. The woman that got you in the brother hood will be a burnt body and the dagger is next to her.

The IMPERIALS said "fuck that" and attempted to kill off the whole brotherhood. Astrid never wanted that to happen. Maybe if you didnt skip through the dialogue you would know what the fuck is going on.

@idkmyname91 Arguably Astrid sold out her own, failing to abide by the tenets. Maro states it himself that the initial assassination attempt would have been successful. (Read the dialogue and you would know this). The Emperor contract is an opportunity to reintroduce the Brotherhood into its old ways and rebuild the DB reputation. Astrid's actions were far from DB.Killing Motierre should be questioned as if it were to honor Mede's last request without conducting the Black Sacrament.

That was the imperials. You blame her for the death of most of the bh. I blame motierre for putting a contract on the emperor, which made astrid sell the db out, which led the imperials to betray her, which led the bh to die. That's why I killed him.
