The '80s were the shit! I used to shop at FP back in the day (1979 -1988) when it used to be on Broadway and 12th, right across the street from Strand's (bookstore). More variety, not just comic books! Had 2 floors (1st & Bsmt) full of Games, Game guides, books, model kits, collectible die casts from Dune, Star Wars, Star Trek, Terminator, the works! Now it's just a shadow of its former self, located on 13th Street...and looking DEAD! Man, some things do change for the WORST...
Just so's you know. The two guys out front are Bucket, lead man for the world famous Ska band the Toasters. And Whitey Francis Conroy X-bass player from Modern English,You know Melt With You?
