    8. The 150, same as no. 7.

    9. The 153 is in the key of C major.

    10. The 157 is in the key of G major, just three whole steps and a half up.

    11. The 164, 165, and 166 are in the key of C major.

I'm not listing band organs right before the merger of Wurlitzer and DeKleist, since I'm questioning the DeKleist style 160. Let me know if you have any questions.

  • If you are a musician, or a music theorist, I'll tell what different keys without flats or sharps does the Wurlitzer band organ plays.

    1. The style 103 plays in C Major.

    2. The 105 plays in Bb major, just a whole note down, so does the 104, and 106.

    3. The 125, same as no. 2.

    4. The 126 is in the key of G Major.

    5. The 145 A and B band organs both are in the key of C major.

    6. The 146 A and B, same as no. 5.

    7. The 148 is in the key of Bb major.

  • Nice video-- good sound too. Please post more of this wonderful band organ!

  • It has no xylophone

  • @gaspen100 yes it does not, it would be a 146b if it did, the b indicates bells

  • Sounds very nice. I could listen to this all day. "The Billboard March"

  • This is the collector that has the famous Wurlitzer 165 band organ, that has a 157 style front. I saw it as you panned the camera around. I see a Wurlitzer 153 and a 105 organ too. Nice sounding organ! The cymbal on top was not striking as many times as it should.

  • Roill no. 10280

  • Very nice Wurlitzer 146. The only one of these I've actually seen is one on the carousel at the Children's Museum in Indianapolis, Indiana. That was over a decade ago but I think it's still there.

  • As far as I can tell, it's an early style 146. Thanks for the videos, I can't wait for rally season.

  • I think you are right, I looked in the bopp book and that shows it as a 146, sounds like one too, I have played this on the Torin 146b, and I miss the bells, that are not on this organ, good tune either way

  • @wurly164

Is this the organ you want?

  • @Wurlitzer157 No the organ I will be getting is a 146b late style with wings, it is still in the Torin collection

  • What organ is beside hte 146?

  • @anglerfly On the left is a 153 with part of the top missing and I think a 105 on the right

  • @wurlitzer153duplex It hink its a 147

  • @anglerfly No, it's an early style 146 (before they made the A and B models). The 147 has brass piccolos and the facade is a little bit different.

  • Thanks for posting! Is the arnolds one?

  • yes, all of my vids are

  • can't wait to see the 106 video! That is probably the most rare Wurlitzer band organ!

  • I think the 126 is rarer, but that's just nit-picking. I think that the 126 is the rarest organ taking 125 rolls. It also has it's own chassis-type.

  • Yeah good point. I havnen't ever seen a 106 though!

  • I love these videos thank you very much!!!

  • Glad you like them
