i went on this when i was 12, the way up was so fun. but then waiting up there, all i kept saying was 'when when when is it going to drop' then it did, it gives you the weirdest feeling, i was so scared, but its an amazing ride, i love it.

I've been on a ride like this before (not near as high) and it seems VERY scary from the ground but when you go up it isn't so bad. If you go with a friend you usually go "Hey I can see such and such" or things like that. Your heart is to busy thumping and adrenaline is to busy rushing for you to be scared.

Best way is to go with a friend and call out sights to keep your mind off of it.

The good thing about this ride

i went on it a few weeks ago

when u going up u can see the surfers paradise so it takes ur mind off the ride

and dont be scared by it

the drop is AMAZING

and u just want 2 do it all over again and again and again

i have 2 say it is scary being 119m in the air but its just sooo much fun i recommend 2 ride it

this isnt fun. i did a much smaller one of these and have developed a severe fear of heights. i cant go up a ladder anymore. and watching them drop makes me feel sick. i never had a fear of heights before i went on the ride.

the trick is to wait for the silence. the ride makes an electrical noise on the way to the top and for a few seconds at the top then when its about to drop it goes silent then drops 2 seconds later:D

@TheSmapster That's not entirely true either. The ride has broken down before, but because of the safety measures taken no one has ever been hurt. Most major breakdowns just cause the riders to be stuck at some point on the tower for a while.

I was really scared to go on it. I am not afraid of heights but the thought of that wait at the top terrified me. My friend literally dragged me on(literally pushed me in the seat and pulled down the harness) and up I went. The view was amazing and the whole ride was great, not as bad as I thought it would be.
