I have a question? Why do you spend so much time trying to disprove all accounts of Joseph Smith and Mormonism? If you as an individual cant find a testimony for whatever reason why would you leave the church, and try to discourage everyone who has found a testimony of the church. Personally, I think you are jealous that those of us who have a testimony because its something you said yourself you never had.

He was mormon for 40 years - but then Jesus saved him and he became christian. This is ONE hour a week... he is a pastor in a church (never talking about mormonism there)...

We want to expose the error of the LDS church, so that they may research it further - dont believe us - find the info for yourself. And we want them to have a living relationship with Jesus - become born again.. Have you been born again? If you die tonight, would you live with God?

I know he was a mormon for 40 years, and I remember hearing him say that he had troubles accepting in his heart that it was the true church. Why does he blabber on about mormonism on the air all the time and never at church? If you already have a testimony in your heart that Jesus Christ is the son of the living god who died on the cross so that we can live with god again, how is that not having a relationship with Jesus? And ask yourself the same question, would you live with god?

It is so strange Andreas, that you guys at testskriftene, spend so much time witnessing to the Mormons.. Why denounce Mormons instead of preaching Jesus? To me this phenomena is not new... "It hath a familiar spirit"..

I can remember my mission in England ten years ago. There was a man who was on a five year mission - not to proclaim Jesus crucified or repentance or the good news of the gospel, - but rather, he was on a mission AGAINST THE LDS CHURCH"! Strange, leaving he wife and kids behind..

Out of curiosity, what is your "doctrine"? I've never heard you say what you actually believe, other than Mormons are wrong.

In Exodus 21:10, a man can marry an infinite amount of women without any limits to how many he can marry.

In 2 Samuel 5:13; 1 Chronicles 3:1-9, 14:3, King David had six wives and numerous concubines.

In 1 Kings 11:3, King Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines.

In 2 Chronicles 11:21, King Solomon's son Rehoboam had 18 wives and 60 concubines.

God never commanded :-) Still need scripture for that! The marriage was perverted after the fall... but Jesus re-established marriage as it was meant to be... Do the study - and find it for yourself :-)

God bless you too...thank you. The Lord is asking people to pray. That message is repeated multiple times. Just like the Lord prayed himself for others and including himself. I think that is so beautiful that he himself multiple times set that example. I also personally think it wonderful that in his time of need he asked the Father why he had forsaken him. Prayer for guidance, peace...and even which direction is right, is a wonderful blessing. I would be lost without it.

I have asked...my Father in Heaven has answered. I have a peace that comes from his wonderful blessing. The sad part about all this bantering, on both sides, is that you cannot prove or disprove each other. For every scripture quoted I can show what would seem to contradict it, from the same scriptures. You cannot take a person's witness and it is difficult to have a person believe they are deceived. This is why I am so grateful for modern day prophets, a second book of scripture and a church that says read, ponder, pray to know for yourself. Thanks to my Father in Heaven.  Yes..I am LDS!

Would you say that there where a difference from OT theology and NT theology? I think so. The NT tells that those who truly know Jesus - cant live in sin (saying that a sin is ok, not repenting etc..). And the NT only tells about the monogamy marriage. Remember the woman at the well, and that all Elders should have one wife (unlike LDS elders.. not all has one wife - ergo, they are not elders...)

Ok, then what about Judas, and what about Paul's admonition to the Christians to repent and sin no more? It is a lie to say you are sinless, or that you are not accountable for your sins after being "born again." The NT says bishops, not Elders should have one wife (and even that is Paul's opinion, like not having women speak in church. Thank God we have a modern prophet who can teach truth, and not the (false) learning of men.

We are always going to fall, but true christians cannot live in sin (think it is ok to lie, steal, treat people differently (denying people rights because of skincolor etc) polygamy, homosexual relation).. to fall is not the same as to live in sin.. If you live in sin, you dont know Jesus (ergo, you are not saved) Read 1. John 3
