@Andy81m The device is Aluminum and it is attached to the wheel with a steel locking system. It is engineered to lock into the center bore, not fly off.

The device is intended for road use in all weather conditions. The cap is sealed using a rubber O-ring

From the video angle, it appears that these would interfere with the lug wrench if you needed to remove your wheel once the GloRyder was installed. How much clearance is there?

Yes it does requires taking the housing on and off before taking the wheel off. As it only requires a couple of extra screws being removed that really should not be much of an issue, depending of course on how often you would take your wheel off.
