  • They are so elegant, that it looks plain and simple. Massive!

  • Yeah, I wonder what the MMA guys will be doing in their 80's? Not moving like this, I'm sure. I'll take the long term benefits of this type of training over their "realistic" training any day.

  • @Allen2saint Them boys will not reach 80 yrs. old with all the crap they put into their body to enhance their short term performance.

  • @Allen2saint martial arts are about survival. beating people to a pulp has very little to do with it. treat people with respect act with dignity and be virtuous and you wont need to be getting in fights all the time.

  • hou hsing at the end..OMG! :) the dragon too!!

  • beautiful form frrom the old man of the beginning

  • mmm... good stuff.

  • with age comes skill

  • agreed

  • hope that i cant still move that good when i am their age,

  • heck hope I can move sorta like that at half there age

  • Awesome

  • A truly inspiring set of demonstrations. Will be an excellent point of reference for future generations - thanks for posting!

  • Xingyi forms appear more combat oriented compared to Tai Chi Chuan, just as I've read. However, all the Internal systems have a variety of benefits to the user. It's not all fighting, healing, meditating, spiritual development, etc. it's all those things and much more.

  • yes. in fact, many masters have trained in more than one internal systems so as to reap all the benefits.

  • The guy at 1:50 is also awsome

  • The guy after 1:22.I like his form.

  • absolutely brilliant, it is a gift that we can see these true masters.

  • wow, over 80 year old! they moves like butterfly. they just let their soul out of their cell!

  • @zzznx

I'm half their age, and lack the grace, that these gentlemen obviously possess. Incredible.

  • hou ni hi xingyi nei jia

  • bou ai shing shro hi

  • WOW! 82 years old! 66 years old! Wish I can walk like that speed. Think about that already make me short of breathes.

  • Just beautiful!!!!!!!

Working hard to some day be almost 1/8 as good as them!

  • Extremely interesting to watch! Thanks a lot for sharing

  • Wonderful to watch some of the worlds greatest kung fu masters generously revealing their inner skills. I think the first master is Wang Jiwu. Watch carefilly his amazingly skillful use of relaxed, whole body integration. Amazing!

  • precious these older masters

  • The gentleman who performed the 5 element linking form was 82!!!!!. Wow. Just great1

  • This is the most famous combat skill of my home town, my grandfather can play it too. He died when he is 93 yrs old.

  • Is that in Shanxi province? Or maybe Huashan?

I've been doing Xingyi for eight years under master who teaches Dao at LaoZiAcademydotcom.

He is friends with Master You Xuan De from Wudang. I practice Zhongnan and Huashan Nei Jia and Daoyin.

  • The last gentleman in the video is just incredible!! Of course, all of them are very good, too.

  • You know, I realize now that the reason a lot of our XYQ moves look innocuous to others watching is that their application involves WHOLE BODY power and timing of application to an imaginary body or force, so it is very effective looking when you put some unfortunate person in the middle of it, believe me.

  • yes, Song style's monkey

  • the last form that Zhuo Yongchang performed was monkey style right?

  • it's 12 animal form, shi er xing. it does includes monkey

  • unbelieveable. one of them is 82 years old. the youngest performer is more than 60 years old.

  • Those old guy kick your butt... :]
