If it is an Intel processor you can use it.

If it is a Power PC processor you won't be able to install Snow Leopard on it.

The simplest thing to do is to just buy a new CD. If you have Leopard you can get a Snow Leopard CD for just $30.

Well you need a re-install disc of Leopard (or whatever OS you are using). Here is how you reset your password using a cd 1. Put in the cd and hold down option 2. Select to boot from the cd 3. Select the language 4. When its done loading hit utilties 5. Reset Passsword 6. Back up Leopard Drive 7. Select Use 8. Type your new password 9. Click Save 10. Its changed
