i used to listen to house and "party music" in generall but after i listened to some of mindthings` songs.. wow. i dont get how this music chills and is beautiful
The media cannot show pure music like this simply because the majority of viewers of music media are not viewing it for the music. Before, music videos were made to suit the music, but somewhere along the way, artists decided that writing music to suit videos was a better idea. Videos just sell better than music :P
how come on tv when the ads come on saying the worlds hottest hits and then they proceed to show horrible tasteless generic pop and rap music. Why cant they show to the world the meaning of real music? such as mindthings, all your songs are amazing!
@mirkthirteen Classical and calm music may be hard for some people to understand. 2/3 of Earth's people are bellow 100 IQ and these people rather then listening to this ( although they might like this ) and make your own scheme ( words ) to the music and peacefully relax, they would listen to someone saying how he knows everything and how cool you are if you're listening to him. It's their choice.
@PermanentWeedUser well of course it is, everyone has their opinions to music and thats especially what makes this world so interesting. i just have an undeniable hatred to that sort of music. because it feels like music has just gone backwards
@mirkthirteen I do believe, that the common classes of people's need did not change. It is hard for me to constructively explain that in english so here is easier way of telling it: In every era, there was same kind of people, sometimes they had different scales of what they could have, but every time they chose what was similar to them, what they thought was important from what was possible to have in that era. We haven't gone backwards, it's just more possible to see more opinions these days.

In some respects I'd say youre right it jsut feels with the introduction of the music industry and pop with their auto tune etc etc, in no way matches the standard and mature mind of the creators of say classical music for example.

@plikminlol I hear ya. most of the good music (rock/metal) is gone and the best music now is underground artists like this guy. my bus driver used to play that rap/pop crap when I rode the bus to high school and eventually I just started walking home because I couldnt stand it anymore.
