  • Wish I could find all of dee dee singing his best songs in decent sound quality.

  • Woah Dee Dee was on vocals for this song??? First time I thought that was C.J. :P

  • This album was actually really strong IMO. From start to finish. It's not really punk, it's more like a punk/hard rock hybrid. The songs are very tight, and punchy. It should have been a huge hit, but then again, every album they did should have been a huge hit. The Ramones, Hanoi Rocks and the NY Dolls....three bands that should have been among the biggest ever, but it just didn't work out that way....

  • I've always wondered who sang this song....I can see from these posts that's Dee Dee....am I alone in thinking that his voice is almost completely unrecognizeable? I've got every album they've ever done, and I'm embarassed to admit that I just don't recognize him here....

  • @decristo1021 haha nothing to be embarassed about it took me forever to realize it too

  • Probably the best song from Brain Drain!! The album is absolutely not one of my top favorites, but this song is just awesome.

  • top 10!

  • This is an great song!!!!!!!!!!

  • Dee Dee sounds like a pro on this song.

  • @alexdeceased Dee Dee Was Allways A Pro In Ramones Without Him they Werent Ramones

  • @alexdeceased i laughed so hard

  • @alexdeceased Yeah he does..he had a couple different "persona's when he sang...sometimes he sounded like a cartoon character (Wart Hog, I Lost My Mind) and others, he sounded like a polished hard rock singer with that deep delivery. Definitely a talented but disturbed guy.

  • rip jonhy

  • R.I.P. DEE DEE

  • Dee Dee Ramone and Eddie Stotts (from The Plasmatics!).

  • @seodito i will ! thx dude for the lyrics !

  • sing!!!

    =D

  • I hear the bells of freedom chiming

And inside my heart I feel I'm dying

    Wise guys never compromise

They they loose their rights and they act surprised

Jail really cuts ya down to size

  • Let the punishment fit the crime

The footprints on (the sign the time)

    The philosophy of (warish crime)

Make a man humble in his prime

You can go up, down, or sideways

Be on Death Row, counting the days

They say the answers are blowin' in the wind

And to take yourself out would really be a sin

You just have to cope and start over again

  • Let the punishment fit the crime The footprints on (the sign the time) The philosophy of (warish crime) Make a man humble in his prime Little child cries in his sleep And life makes promises it can't keep And then you had, had enough You realize somehow, someway Your destiny was planned from the very first day Let the punishment fit the crime The footprints on (the sign the time) The philosophy of (warish crime) Make a man humble in his prime (x 2)
