Vince Carter had the best single dunk contest in 1999...But J-Rich should be the only 3-peat winner because that 2004 dunk contest was a joke!! His off the backboard thru the legs dunk was pry the best dunk ever!! If he did it with a cape on he would of got a 60!

@gtdm23 he tried dunking 2 balls backwards at the same time on the last dunk of the contest and one went in and one not and once one goes in you have no more attempts so he lost because of that to desmond mason i think

How many dunk contests have you seen where you get multiple chances to dunk if you miss? That's what makes J-Rich so legend. He only needed one attempt.

gawdmn @tizilajizones, Im trying hard to lebron up my vertical jump by performing the training system at (50-inch-vertical[dot]com) - and just now improved over 9-10 inches so far yet unfortunately Im even now a little off from jumping high enuf to dunk the ball smoothly. Its really my first day of my second week thus far, any advices?

@rorygrossmann3141 You need to practice on lower baskets. You should master dunking before you get to where you can dunk on 10. If you have already done that, find a basket that's a little lower. Figure out the easiest way for you to dunk. Most people can't palm a basketball. I used to cup the ball off the dribble and release it from my wrist at the top of my leap and dunk it. You should finish with your hand on the rim , just like you were grabbing it. Do what works for you.

The only person I think could of ever been on J-Rich's level is maybe Vince Carter when he was in his prime. He literally blew the roof off of the 2000 contest like nobody has seen til Richardson came along. I'd love to see those two duke it out in their prime.

If I did a dunk in the Dunk Contest which showcases special dunks from different players and then find another player doing them in the games with ease.. well that sort of just makes your dunks look easy lol. No offence to Jason Richardson hes the man but like Kobe said Carter is in his own league when it comes to dunking
