Juventus still generates decent revenue, keep in mind that they haven't played in the CL for two seasons and they didn't own their own stadium (like all the other Italian teams) until this year. The problem has been crappy management after being relegated. The guys that came in were great when it came to the bussiness side of running the club, however they were naive with the footballing side of it.

Juve were a great side back then, we had some legendary European battles against them. We learned a lot in 96/97 against Juve and brought that experience to the table as a much better side in 98/99, who can forget that legendary night in Turin in the semi final 2nd leg!
