Love the TiPX. Nicely done! It's balanced nicely, light weight, and durable. I'd love to see Tippmann come out with some extended round magazines for this marker. Excellent pistol.
what is this pistol made out of.... plastic? thats totally lame...... whats even lamer is that the enginier that help make this doesnt know that its called a magazine not a clip.....FAIL. I really want one of these guns but not if its made of plastic....I likey real weight thanks!
@SeanofZeus The TiPX receivers are made of 30% Glass Infused Nylon. It is very durable and reliable. The TiPX comes with two 7 ball straight magazines and a carrying case. It is available online at tippmann.com and your local Tippmann dealer.
@SeanofZeus fuck u dude this is a great gun. just because its "MADE OF PLASTICZ OH NOE!!" means nothing. It has almost all metal internals. If it was all metal it would weigh a ton. This things is amazing
@17456spartan im not doubting the guns greatness. I would by far rather have this than then t8.x's. If it was made of all metal then it would weigh.....I dunno..the amount of a real firearm. If weight is an issue for any player then why do you play. Only pussies complain about weight, especally when it comes to a sidearm... Id rather pay more for a indestructable product rather than something that might break down the line
@SeanofZeus ._. This is a case example of trolling. First off, this "plastic" isn't Walmart ABS plastic. It's a composite reinforced plastic, similar to the stuff they make firearms with, because it's tough as nails. Secondly, a clip and magazine both loosely mean detachable ammo loader. Please use common sense before you go blabbering off like an idiot. Good Day.
@Gobeldeg00p umm the term clip and magazine loosly refer to the same thing because people are ignorant about the actual definitions, do a quick google search and you'll find out that they are different in terms of how it loads ammo. the only reason why people use two terms just shows that they do not know the difference so they decide to go with what they think is right.
and if the plastic is tough as nails, thats fine.. but hope that it doesnt have a plastic feel to it...good day to you to sir
@SeanofZeus FYI, I do know the difference, but what I was saying is that it really doesn't do anything good by being picky about the terms in a paintball video. And as for the plastic feel, its all personal preference. Some people don't mind it, some hate it :P
@Gobeldeg00p well as long as the gun feels like it should I suppose I wont mind it being made of plastic.
but someone who designs and enginieers a firearm...I think he should use the definitions correctly. thats it. Im wasent trying to troll. just stating that since this guy help in the creation of this pistol. I think he shouldn't look like a terd and call a magazine a clip when he should obviously know the difference. thats all. anyways im soon to order one of these so I hope all is well.
Hi i from Chile and my question is, i have this marker and when i put the co2 in the tpx i hear inside my marker smalls sound of leaks (after pulling the trigger to carry co2 ), that sounds are nomal?
The shells are plastic, but so far Ive not heard of them cracking at all. The TPX shroud and the breech are aluminum and most of the internals are various metals of course. The 'cheap' look they have is only on the outside.
@MrTatertots99 You will get 3 full 7 rd clips per CO22 cartridge. The TPX is rapidly becoming one of the most popular pistols on the market. People love the performance and reliability
@MrTatertots99 You will get 3 full 7 rd clips per CO22 cartridge. The TPX is rapidly becoming one of the most popular pistols on the market. People love the performance and reliability.
@danny96211 The only sound you should hear is the Co2 discharging from the pistol. It is a very quite paintball marker. If there is squeaking, it is normal and will go away over time.
Yes. I actually took it into a store and they sent it in yesterday. The trigger is not very responsive, and It has been leaking out the back velocity screw since I installed the remote line adapter
I have a question for tippmann sports...is there a tippmann barrel or any other brand of barrel that could be used in this gun to make it look more like a silenced pistol?
Great, all we need now is a rifled version of the a5 and pointed paint to have something like a sniper, aside from the flatline and apex, to have the whole set of scenario available.
Only a couple drawbacks on gun, needs bigger clip release. Hard to use in gunfights when you need to reload fast. Tends to break a ball when fully loaded clip used.
Used TPX with remote line and compressed air tank. Gun is great. Had two TPX pistols, both with remotes and compressed air with extra clips. Slaughtered many a player at FIGHTERTOWN in Suprise, Az. during Red vs Blue Scenario. Great fun. Used only 7 rounds per 8 round clip. Break a ball in clip, and your shooting air. Other than that great gun.
Love this gun, want to get one of this and a ALPHA BLACK TIPPMANN, but I dont know why a Paintball pistol is more expensive than a normal paintball gun???
Big problems with it. The puncture valve is busted (they send you an upgrade for it for free, thank god). the windows on the side get paint on them. it is glued on , and if you take the window off, it will fall off when you put it back in (I lost it). Wait till the next gen product comes out!
Can you use compressed air

I´m a noob and i´m thinking of getting this.
When you shoot it opens the Co2 container, right?
And then it just keeps open so the Co2 leaks out?
So i can never just shoot a shot and then put my gun away for a couple days?
And how do I maintain it, clean it?
