I like Jamie Oliver, and this show, but I feel like he is really unfair to the fast-food restaurant owner. This man has a business, and a family to feed, if he pulls burgers and fries off the menu, people will just go somewhere else, he'll go bankrupt, and someone else will buy the restaurant, and start selling fries again. If Jamie's food is so much better, then it should be able to handle competition. BTW a fruit drink with yogurt and no ice cream is NOT A MILKSHAKE.

This show inadvertantly demonstrates why socialism is such a bad idea. When government monopolises a service like education parents aren't able to opt out and it allows the schools to treat them and their kids like dirt, where else are they going to go?

State eduction: good idea in theory, but it practice it's proven to be highly propblematic.

@cookdave I think this is very a poor example for your point, actually. The US has lots of private schools. When I've met americans so many of them seem to have been educated in private school. Certainly they seem to have far more private schools than other countries with far healthier diets. Parents very much are able to opt out, but only those who can pay private fees. So those who actually have the money and influence to make sure the schools are good, leave instead.

The police would not be allowed to stop you filming.

@karadan100 yes they do. i live here too. there are many many cases of police stopping people or trying to for filming public property from the street, were not talking about private property, which you only need permission for if you want to film inside. the parliment has different restrictions altho it is not illegal to film it from the street. there are several links showing what im saying in action, sometimes from Community support officers, clearly they dont know they law.
