  • . Oww.. great! AFTER THE EARTH EXPLODE. WE NEED TO GO ON KEPLER ;)

  • haist... how much is the ticket??

  • @TNTdabeast Dumb ass, who engineered the whole universe if god is fake? Your fucking father?

  • Welcome to Pandora!!

  • Earth is still the best

  • @ XDFranciscoXD Every knee shall bend and every head will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord.

  • So far

  • I hope there's life there but it's so fat

  • God said "Therein you will live, and therein you will die, and from it you will be brought forth."

    (7:25)

  • @HUMANlTY fuck god

  • @XDFranciscoXD fuck you

  • @TNTdabeast god = fake

  • @XDFranciscoXD Don't bash on peoples' religions, it makes you look like a faggot.

  • @JaskiratOfIndia atheist

  • I believe your country one of asian country,

  • in my country ( don wanna mention the name ) %50 of the people believe that the earth is not round. they believe its flat and its on the top of HUGE cows and fishes. when ever the " cows" and "fishes" shake their heads earthquaks occure. no jokes. how sad is that !

  • @Fguns757 Not much more of a stretch than believing in a god that's going to rain hellfire soon over the planet but save the few who worship his giant ego.

  • if theres no life forms on that planet and 2012 will happen, we shud all go there so scientists, if u think 2012 will happen... create a loooooot of spaceships and pick everyone up and lets go over there!!!

  • In the future ,5 billion years, the earth will die because of the sun the sun will soon get hotter and bigger and the earth will turn into a mud ball and will eaten by the sun for energy. Scientist say that Gliese 581 is to become our new home planet . To Get there our race is planning to build a spacecraft going the same or better speed of the fastest man built object ever, a satellite you may not think satellites are fast but one in particular is traveling the speed of 11 miles a minute

  • @vietaznboi56 A commercial aircraft travels faster than 11 miles a minute, Hell, that's only 660 miles per hour??? Surely you meant to say 11 miles a second, which equates to 660 miles per minute or 39600 miles per hour. Which is bullshit, because a satalite actually travels at 5 miles per second or 18000 miles per hour. So basically you just open your mouth and say whatever shit is going through your little brain!

  • @aberdeendeltaforce but you are not factoring in the slingshot effect our satellite gains more speed with each planet passed and with in a perfect vacuum (excluding the 5 hydrogen atoms every cubic meter) there is nearly nothing slowing it down so such speeds are possible with in space

  • @vietaznboi56 rofl. "one in particular is traveling the speed of 11 miles a minute". EPIC FAIL.

  • We shall call it REACH!!!

  • @funwithCJandED123 Awesome name!

  • @funwithCJandED123 stupid gamers^^

  • Yeah a brand new planet to polute. What are we waiting?

  • yo, people is there any other beings in other planets and galaxy? just curious.

  • if it´s that big - if it has people on it´s surfacae - they could be huge

  • @mzedong001 more likely they would be small. the planet is more massive than earth, so would have higher gravity.

  • i believe there are no planets which cannot have life - and thus that ALL planets have life.......life in some form.

  • hes explaing it like my 4 year old brother would

  • wow the planet is made out of stuff..... oh and it has a liquid cherry centre.......... 100% CONFIDENCE IN THIS GUY!

  • ûnglåublich_sÚcht_mÂl_NÃch:_geldeasy_àUf_góØglÉ

  • one small problem.. it takes 19 million years to get there at current speeds. well u can say we are improving fast but hey! How Low Can You Go? down to 1 million may be 100000 years? good luck!

  • lol 20 light years away..imagine going there by shuttle ur bones wouldnt even exist by then

  • wow .. 200 years before we know if life exist there ??

is there still earth that day ?

  • from what i hear, earth is actually the MINIMUM size to sustain our kind of life. Any smaller would be too small. Most planets with earth like atmospheres would probably be much larger from two times to maybe eight times the size of earth.

  • halo nerds GTFO, IT'S not fucking reach, quit living in a fantasy world

  • @Diidiidii4 So, Pandora then? lol

  • @derman077 perhaps, IDK Helghan? who knows

  • @Diidiidii4 Idk either. In fact I had to look up the name of that fictional planet. This is good science. I would be happy to find out more people are understanding how they read these with spectral analysis.

  • We need to send rovers to all the planets we find if possible

  • @talonmorgan3593 lol its 20 lightyears away.

  • Wow even if life did exist on the planets, Humans would just go on it and take it over

    -.-

  • @Flynner102 LOL! that's what i thought! they'll bully them just like they bully each other! freaks

  • reach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it would be funny if he was serious when he said "marshmellow creme"

  • Surah Rahman, verse 33. O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allâh)!

  • well they must be thoes gray alians with the big eyes. we always see lol.

i reckon space has got something gota do with death who knows hay

  • no thats not avatar. Thats reach! *remember reach*

  • @Road2Dr0p thanks for the laugh :)

  • I seen this on yahoo.....

  • ...from the data, so 4 now the jury's still out on the existence of this wonderful planet :( Don't mean a thing though; there's probably hundreds (if not thousands) of intelligent aliens in our galaxy alone...my fav film Contact is slowly coming true!!! (still don't have the Machine though, let's hope they've figured that one out!) BTW, the guy who found it (Steve Vogt) unofficially dubbed it "Zarmina" after his wife (how romantic) - what u think of that? Kinda sounds like classic sci-fi to me!

  • It's so great finding this planet - they're now saying that rocky, earthlike planets should be around 10% of all sunlike stars in the galaxy and very likely much more - conservatively that's around 1 BILLION earth like planets in only one of the 140 billion galaxies in only the known universe!!! We'll find that true earthlike planet in the next 10 years 4 sure (if this isn't the one), but unfortunately another team said they couldn't replicate the results and come up with the 2 new planets cont.

  • Can't the Hubble zoom in on it to see if aliens are grillin' steaks in their backyards?

  • I genuinely think they should send a large space ship out into space with say 6 guys and 6 girls on board and just keep on travelling far out to space. Those people with then get giggy and have children and their children with have more children with another couples children and so on. It should take photos of other galaxies and planets and send them back to earth, somehow. They could use solar technology to fly and use recycled water and a very large food supply. And keep going for centuries.

  • @lazzawazza93 not possible .. it'll take hundeds of thousands of years .. even earth doesn't hav soo much food .. and if they keep multipying how will they live in a spaceship .. 6 girls + 6 guys .. 2 children on average .. 6*2=12*2=24....do the math ..

  • @rhn94 Fudge off!!! Don't ruin my brilliant idea!

  • @lazzawazza93 what about air?forgot that one huh.

  • @jackgamers Have you seen the film Sunshine? If not, see it! It's directed by Danny Boyle (director of Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, etc) and it's about a group of scientists and astronauts going to put a giant nuclear bomb into the sun to reactivate it because it's dying, therefor saving earth. Obviously it's not realistic for our time but in the space ship there's a huge garden which recycles their oxygen and that WOULD work in real life.

  • @lazzawazza93 But what if once beyond reach or possibility of returning to earth, some later generation of slave descendants do what slaves rightfully do, which is say "F- the Earth slave lords" revolt and gain their freedom and choose a mission of their own? Say for example, founding a new civilization that doesn't like us, but along with most of its peer civilizations has colonized all of the few nicely reachable life-friendly star systems thus no longer available to Earth?

  • @32DereenigneEsrever firstly what are you talking about, slaves?when did I mension slaves? and secondly if they did start a new civilisation and start a war that would be fucking awesome and an awesome film would probably come out of it all.

  • I am an astronomer. In an effort to cover each one of these vids on you tube I will be brief.

Gliese 581 g is in the Goldilocks zone. It is also two to three times the size of the earth. It is reasonable to suspect that it is a rocky planet. Whether there is water on this planet, and if there is an atmosphere and/or life, must wait for further study. As yet, we do not have the technology to detect water or atmospheres on worlds this small. On to the next vid.

  • @QuantumEnsnared so is this a class M planet or class F planet?

  • @QuantumEnsnared why does it say "November 27, 2001: Astronomers using the orbiting Hubble Space Telescope have made the first direct detection and chemical analysis of the atmosphere of a planet outside our solar system. Their unique observations show it is possible to measure the chemical makeup of extra-solar planetary atmospheres -- and potentially to search for chemical markers of life far beyond Earth." then?

  • Comment removed

  • @QuantumEnsnared ur an estronamer ehh !!?? , get your ass up and get to wsork :D

  • Better to know that planet. If there is a life imagine what species are there. It could be dangerous.

  • @TheDominision i think they are in an dinasaur state

  • @QuantumEnsnared but it being in the goldilock zone in itself is promising

  • Who cares if this planet can sustain life or not, since we don't have the means to travel that far, its basically useless knowledge.

When they actually produce a warp-engine, then we can discuss this again!

  • Vogt needs to shut his mouth if he can't stick with the facts.

Fact: they know how far from it's star it is.

    Fact: they know it's mass.

Conjecture: everything else! And that includes the unsupported OPINION that it is a rocky planet.

  • @Roen2012

Fact: Scientists know that average temperature of the planet (10F)

My Opinion: You don't like the thought of there being extraterrestrial life.

  • 20 light years away huh, too bad we can't travel at the speed of light. bet they have some cool fucking shit on the planet like HOVER BOARDS HELLLS YA

  • @Bcboi92 You never know they might be able to travel at the speed of light so they might even be on there way. I guess we'll find out in 20 years whether they arive or 40 years for a radio signal.

  • I bet thats where King kong comes from

  • how can it be a planet if most of its dark and dont rotate????

  • @bobodd5

It does rotate, just like the moon it rotates at the exact speed needed to keep it tidally locked with its parent. Just like one side of the moon always faces earth, one side of this new planet always faces its star.

  • 20 lightyears from earth? That's roughly 200 trillion kilometres from earth.... I don't believe this shit for a second. The most advanced telescopes in existence wouldn't be able to detect a planet of that size from that distance, and they're claiming all this? Wishful-thinking is an understatement.

  • THAT CUTE PLANET LOOKS VERY YUMMY ^-^

  • 200years????? WE DONT HAVE THAT MUCH TIME LEFT!!!!! ONLY 2 MORE YEARS..... evil 2012...

  • @emosashiru nothing gonna hapen 2012 give up

  • @sad4ewer whatever u know i dident even saw that stupid 2012 movie i knew that along time ago before that and its not my right or anyways to say whats ganna happen that day its gods and if you see whats going on this this fuckin world you will think the same thing this world can end in 2012 its sad but true

  • Too bad our generation will never get to vivsit those kind of planets . 2 or 3 more thousand years to have the neccessary technologie .

  • @mikoumehdi With the way our technology grows we will probably be able to make it there way sooner then 2 or 3 thousand more years.

  • If only the world would spend trillions in finding ways to going to such planets instead of spending it on wars this might not feel like such a feat. /sadface

  • @Vincentxr6 I know, we spend too much money developing better ways to kill each other. The only way we can get to places lke that, and actually have our species survive is through cooperation. Having say, a war for oil doesn't help anyone, we could easily spend that money on finding an alternative fuel source.

  • We can realize star wars now...

  • mmmm...marshmello creame planet

  • America claims the right to exploit it. They're going to hollow out the centre and make it a death star.

  • @expatted I can hear the Imperial March song now

  • @expatted

    ROFL

    That comment made my day.

  • I wanna move there.

  • This is proof of aliens because if its 20 light years away then life had time to advance on that planet by now just like us. Im a fucking genius.

  • @funfdogg It's not nececcarliy proof, because we don't know what the atmoshpere is like, but there is a very, vey good chance.

  • f**k that planet... if its bigger than earth that means theres alot of more crazy ishh on it.. lets send all the convicts and politicians there...

  • @sotathug941 thats what britton did to australia and look whos laughing now lol

  • How long until it's on GoogleMaps?

  • maybe its the future planet of earth :D

  • @Kawaiicj Or, we could just stop destroying this one. It's pretty nice. Just an idea.

  • CLONES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Only fucking Billionairs going to live there..........

  • 0:00

  • just wondering, if there is really earth-like planets out there...don't you think its possible that in those earth-like planets have human-like living too? i mean, we may think they're aliens but if their planet is very similar in ours like we see in pictures...then creatures living in there MUST be similar to ours as well...right? If i'm right then maybe there are aliens that looks like us living in our planet Earth, studying us without us knowing. Only if their technology is advance than ours.

  • There's a way to get there in 28 months. You just need to run a vertical wave simulator to test the ventricle T valves of a pelf flat. Once you accurately assess each variable, you simply combine polyselphate with 23 ounces of dihydrogen oxide and fuse it with condensed dark matter. When you're finished, you have the fuel needed to magnify speeds to the point of converting light years to regular years by a factor of 8.57. This is doable but NASA is hiding it. Don't believe me? Ask Alex Jones.

  • @dookdawg214 Yeah now make an Engine that can support that shit.

  • @Wootzzzzzzz Such an "engine" was created in 1946, the Searl Effect Generator.

  • @Beamshipcaptain

Yeah, and it used to run on cold fusion until NASA pulled the plug.

  • these guys should stop thinking in terms of fuel and start thinking in terms of antimatter.

we could reach the planet in a few years instead of 2 centuries...

  • Even if this was a real planet. do all of you really think you'll go there, When the world ends everyone except all of the wealthy people are gonna fly to this new planet too start a new life, leaving all of you people behind. Kinda like 2012, Only the people who had enough money and were important enough got on the ship. everyone else was left to die.

  • @MyMike333 The sun will reach us in 300 billion years or something... I think we'll be fine in making new technologies to get us all around the galaxy by then.

You need a less depressing and hating attitude to rich people. :S

  • @Wootzzzzzzz it's actually 6 billion years

  • PANDORA LOCATED! oh yes... just imagine the 4meters long avatars

  • @DaweStudios don't get your hopes up,the chance of na'vi being there is 1 on a few billion?

  • Not even science when you make wild guesses like this. Any wonder how global warming hoax got so far. Need to demand more factual science.

  • Lets gather up all the Muslims and send them there with a one way ticket.

  • @AlYassou3Rabbi

Wow, your kind sure do LOVE sounding just like the Nazis.

  • @halcyon0830 Your'e kind sure is forgetful, sheeple.

You feelin' the love now, pussy?

  • @halcyon0830 The muslims twit, we're in bed with the Nazis. Learn some world history idiot

  • @AlYassou3Rabbi Fuck that. The religious psychos and people like you can have this place. And you idiots can all blow each other to smithereens. I want off this rock.

  • this planet is 3x the size of earth, according to the press. the only thing that makes it similar to earth so far is its relative distance from its sun. Everything else is being postulated from that fact. This planet is NOT in our solar system, its 20 light years away, the sun is 9 light minutes away. It is being said that because this planet is in the "goldilocks" region it is earth-like. Keep in mind that venus and Mars are in the goldilocks region. Neither can sustain life.

  • yess we have a back up plan for 2012 if it happens

  • ...so is there a starbucks there?

  • wow i wonder what's on the new planet? i wish i could go and see

  • i bet there will be avatar people over there lol

  • Once we get there what do we call it? I want it to be named Gaia.

  • @junkers1337 is the planet bigger than earth and the planet cable news has been broadcasting this all day long everybody really taking this faith and history changing events

  • @dcfan07 yeah its history changing! A whole other planet thats like ours, i dont care if it has intelligent or even complex life on it, its just something new.

  • @junkers1337 can you tell me is it bigger than our earth? strange god is now opening up the universe to us maybe he sense the earth is in trouble we have try to start moving off this planet 12 billion and growing

  • I believe there could be 10 foot tall cat-like people living on this planet.

  • @rtrain67 I agree then we bring dogs and they get fucked

  • Avatar!?

  • @Mistersmythe no flaming stupid.. Really? Fucking Avatar?

  • kantttt waittttttttttt

  • fuk 200 years mann yall better step yalls games up on technology real talk..i wanna be alive when we land on it

  • kant wait,i know theres life ,iknow it

  • 200 years? darn it!

  • PLANET OF NAKED WOMAN !

  • Stop searching and get some Girls. Damn..

  • @Bl00dKillax15 I LIKE MARSHMELLOW CREAM !

  • @Bl00dKillax15 maybe they are searching for exotic girls from different planet?

  • Тако је то када је забрањено обичним људима да лете у свемир са приватним свемирским бродовима.Увек ћемо остајати ускраћени многих сазнања због тако блесавих и много глупих закона.

  • how come astronomers always act so depressed. they just discovered a planet that most definitely has life on it. lighten the fuck up.

  • Even given that it had a similar makeup to ours there are some glaring obstacles to finding life there.Without rotation no magnetic field to protect its atmosphere from being blown away. Without a moon no tidal forces causing the erosion required to mix the minerals. It not only requires the right location, it also requires the right environment and history. Then again it might even require that the seeds of life be first delivered into that environment externally. Great discovery, not life tho

  • Bewtween Stephen Hawking and Michio Kaku talking about aliens, recent sightings in China, Vatican saying, IF THERE's LIFE THEN GOD STILL EXISTS, and now we appointed an alien ambassador the other day, something is going on. The powers to be know something

  • If there is any animal life there I hope it taste good.

  • Me & you & you ...Are lucky enough to witness such things :)

15 yrz ago u bee like LAMO if u kno you can talk to xx n watch him @ the same time ..cus @that time was no cell phonem or NET ..just pager. !!!

& now u kno about another life 120 trillion mile away from you..nothing like science.

  • It looks green, blue and brown, there must be life!!

  • @megustaverlas It's an artist sketch.

  • @Wootzzzzzzz Thanks for the info. Well, but what an imagination! It would be much cooler if Pandora did exist though.

  • @megustaverlas Agreed. :D

And the technology for 6-year sleep thingies. :>

  • if there are living things in there we should not destroy them

  • we shall call it earth 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ScreaminxDemon Eden prime XD

    (play mass effect)

  • Comment removed

  • OMG ITS PANDORA :O

  • I freaking hope that theres life on that planet. Could be so fucking awesome, seriously.

  • two hundred years to receive the information

    so boring

    I cant wait ^^

  • This is so surreal.

  • And so it begins...

  • Yay!, another planet to destroy

  • dude hell yeah!!too bad i could never see what it looks like, becaus it will take 200 hundred years to reciec=ve information....
