  • that torch looks like a pencil

  • @MegaRockstar256 asshole

  • @LosSantosKilla it does look like a pencil asshole. Let him be.

  • Man that light was intense even for my eyes through the lcd desktop

  • how do u make the glass smooth

  • How do you get a fire burning hot enough to do this if you have no tools? Just in case.

  • @wollam11 You buy some tools.

  • @wollam11 stick the sand in your ass

  • @LosSantosKilla Fuck You.

  • This gave me a pretty good idea of how its done. Thank man!

  • i like the part when you use the torch

  • @THX2478,

what about cost of electricity used to split water ?

  • @330MillionGods Why does everyone say that without mentioning solar or wind? And why does everyone totally overlook the fact that maybe people want the gas for applications like cutting, welding or even filling balloons for Christ sakes! You can fill balloons with the hydrogen by the way. If your electrodes are far apart and you are harvesting just the hydrogen, balloons filled with it will hit the ceiling faster than a brick dropped on the floor!

  • @330MillionGods Which brings me to my next point: Even if the process does lack economy, that can be rectified (with solar, wind)- AND! things can be made using the gas (HHO) that are worth more than the money that might be lost making it! When a restaurant cooks you a meal on a gas stove they have lost a few cents worth of gas whether it is HHO or propane but they have gained possibly a 10, 20 or 50 dollar bill depending on where you are eating? Do you see?

  • wow, a whole heap of propane for a measly piece of glass...fuk yea, so worth it

  • @Gocast2 Not propane, an HHO torch. This torch runs on hydrogen and the hydrogen is coming from a tank filled with ordinary water. The water is split in the machine and feeds the torch. So this is about $0.03 worth of bottle water. not even a regular cutting torch can get things as hot as this thing can. Yea, so worth it!

  • @THX2478 Oh ok I see now :p

  • i thought making glass out of sand was only in minecraft -_- meh

  • Like this if you read the topcomment and skipped right to 2:44 instead of watching this movie

  • d-did.....did your stomache growl ?! seriously !? lol !!!

  • It's the pencil of the gods.

  • Comment removed

  • If i didnt know better, i wouldn't think that you know what you were doing...

  • lol you melted ur floor man.

  • funny your stomach growls at 2:41

  • funny shit your stomach growls at 2:41

  • Lol, it looks like a pencil. (the torch)

  • could you use such a torch as the burner element in a free standing pot furnace for glass blowing?

  • the blowtorch didnt do that it was the laser that came from the sky

  • Was this guy on drugs when he made this? Really, he was like a 5 year old kids with those pliers twitching all over the friggin place!

  • u can make silicon by this maybe

  • Don't you love slow days at the shop.

  • dude, thats mad cool:D

  • For crying out loud this is dangerous. HHO or Browns gas as it's called, is nothing more than a mix of Hydrogen gas and Oxygen.

There's no special way it combines. The only way it can combine is as H2O (water).

What's more HHO is produced by electrolysis of (Aq)NaOH, which gives off Hydrogen at the cathode and Oxygen at the anode! except in an "HHO Converter" the gases are allowed to mix. This mix is extremely susceptible to flashback and could result in the storage tank exploding.

  • can you make Glass with any kind of sand?

  • @acidfriend47

You can make glass out of nearly anything. Glass simply refers to the lack of a crystal lattice ie; a repeating pattern of atoms in the hardend material. Glass forms when the material cools faster than the atoms can arrange into this pattern.

Most glasses(bottles, windows, etc) are made of silica, sodium, and calcium oxides, some scientific glasses and older pyrex brand cookware contain boron as well. Such glasses are termed soda-lime and borosilicate glasses respectivley.

  • @monkeyape12

actually ALL pyrex contains boron. pryex was the first borosilicate glass, it was invented by the corning glass company in 1903.

  • im a fan of soda lime glass, as i blow glass with it frequently ;)

  • hello, could you tell me if you built this unit yourself or was this purchased?

  • WHY ???

  • @nalbant99 WHY not ???

  • can you use one of these torches to burn through a safe?

  • do u know how hot that gets

  • Kool...should i be wearing goggles? :) Jk

  • Good demo, although it looks like you might have burned a hole in the slab :(

  • a timelapse would have been nice

  • thats an extreme amount of work for a small piece of glass

  • Is the remaining sand wet?

  • looks like a shiny pencil

  • for a moment it looks like a torchblowing pencil...

  • @TranceAgentZ it wasnt a pancil?

  • thumbs upi f you skpped to the end to see the glass :) nice work!

  • I hear there can go over 5,500° C O_o

  • its looks there tryin to eat the glass lol

  • what type of torch are you using?

  • cool

  • 2:44 we can hear your stomach lol

  • poor camera

  • lol hole in your floor

  • Oww Weld Flash!

  • Whoa! I think there's a spot burned into my retinas!

(I forgot to use the "Welder-Shield" plug-in that came with my monitor.) ;-)

  • wear did you get the touch its self i have a genny

  • get a crucible of ceramic make this alot easier

  • cool but I do better , TRIATOMIC FUEL CELLS INC.

  • @pinemontgo Good for you. You arrogant pig. LOL!

  • Arogant ? Hell yes .when you get to be this good you will be to !

  • LOL! OK.....Maybe you're right......Gosh though, I sure hope not!;)

  • Wicked comment dialog like that seen on this video is an excellent reason for continuing to allow it.

  • how can unbelivers stands the hell then

its off topic i know but but may b it'll make som1 think really about it

  • Hell doesn't exist for one....

  • I don't believe any of it.

People also used to say the earth was flat and burn witches. The Nieve generation is dying out. People are starting to take more interest in what they do while there alive. Value the one life you get to live. don't close your mind because someone told you goblins will send you somewhere. its fucken stupid. just love and live while you have the chance.

  • good way of ruining your cameras ccd chip

  • Adhesion means "attached to something" .Adhesion could be with glue, tape or a welding rod.... or a welding torch."just makes it stick together"?have you ever brazed or welded anything besides sand?

  • can you make me a glass pipe?lol...BTW brazing IS a form of welding. When 2 metallic objects are joined by heat ,this is called WELDING. Take it from a welder that uses and sells welding torches that come from the factory labeled "welding torch" .I can name several other proceses that are referred to as welding when a flame (not electric arc)is used to join metals.douche bags aside, this is a cool vid!

  • thats wrong brazing is adhesion. welding is when metal is fused brazing does not fuse the metal just makes it stick together.

  • welding is when 2 metals are fused through heat. i would know im a certified teacher at CNM. dont state bull shit facts. brazing is a form of SOLDERING!

  • CNM- certified numb-nut monkey balls?

  • central new mexico college. we were third ranked in skills usa welding. look it up

  • skills usa... technical college ,right?3rd out of all the technical colleges, eh? you must be proud ;)

  • how hot do you think that torch can get?

  • hot enough to melt chocolate in 3 sec

  • does it have to be silica sand or can any kind of sand make glass?

  • wow, you used a torch to melt a pile of crushed glass into a puddle of glass... cant just about any torch do that...?

  • HHO can braze just fine.

  • truthhurts said "those torches can't do anything else really." I said "HHO can braze just fine." I never said brazing was welding so F*5# off buddy!

  • ...cool lol

  • WOW

  • Yay! Very good stuff, how many liters was that as a guess maybe?

    Thanks,

    Ben.

  • somewhere between 4-5 liter per minute

  • as i understand it, an atomic torch is the best way to blow and mold glass. very nice demo. great work sir!!!
