  • A year ago, my youngest son had symptoms of autism, but he worked at it, & he's back in a normal school.

  • If intervention is only on behaviours ignoring any underlying co-morbids this is inhumane as it allows a child with autism to suffer untreated. Many children with associated co-morbids especially gut problems are left to suffer and the gut problem written off by medical professionals as just part of "autism" that means childrne with autism dont get the same considerationand level of care that others would expect!

  • Why does this diagnositic process not seem to look at any physical problems "co-morbids" the child may have. The diagnosis of autism is given based on behaviours and neurological evaluation - with the recent case of Hanah Poling recognising that there may be underlying physical factors= this process of diagnosis must include tests for co=morbids. simply ask parents "have you noticed any physical problems?" look @ medical records if physical problems are apparent these need looking at first!

  • at 1:53 "Symptoms not caused by another disorder". That IS part of proper diagnosis.
