In my speech a drama class, we are split int groups of six and we have to do a Christian skit for Chapel, and one of the groups is doing this and it's amazing. Only, they use 'Slow Fade' by Casting Crowns. This is such a moving skit <3
Oh, as an aside: y'all should know that this song is actually about a creepy stalker with a crush who follows the object of his affections everywhere and gets jealous a lot. Not the best choice to try to express God's love if you consider him a good guy...
I would like all you Christians to think. If all the fun things in life are sinful: a drink, a shag, a bet, then, if you Christians don't do these things on Earth, do you get to do them in heaven? Because this sinless life is boring. Do you expect it to go on in Heaven? Is that your reward?
Let's face it. When u get sick, u try hard to get better. Why don't u want to die, if u are saved? Because you KNOW that Heaven is BORING!
@littleniyah Thank you for your comment on this video. Hope you don't mind if I say a bit about your question? Most Christians drink. I do. Most Christians enjoy the pleasure of a relationship with the opposite sex. I do. Neither of these is sinful when done within certain loving boundaries - just as driving a car is good when people follow the highway code. Life is good but heaven will be better, I believe. No more death, tears or illness. With my kind regards to you littleniyah.
@littleniyah I am a Christian and I do not want to die when I get sick because I know it will be very painful for those who love me. I also have unreached goals and unfinished business here on Earth. There is also a fear of pain when dying. But other than that I am looking forward to Heaven. One of the reasons why, will answer your question. (ran out of characters, will continue in the next post)
@littleniyah In my inner man, that has been supernaturally reborn at time when I believed, I take pleasure in holy things of God. But my problem is that my body is still contaminated with sin which I have inherited all the way from Adam. It finds pleasure in things that are wrong and pulls me in the opposite direction from where my inner man wants to go.
The only hope to end this inner struggle is when my body will die, I will get a spiritual body, a sin-free body. (continue in the next post)
@littleniyah Then the inclinations of my body will be in a full harmony with who I am and I will enjoy the life of pleasure, that no sex nor drug would be able to supply.

We are all sinners and will face God- the Judge. A Holy God MUST judge sin - if He didn't He wouldn't be Holy! However, as sinners we have been given the opportunity to repent (turn away from our sinful ways) and turn to JESUS - the One who paid our penalty for sin. He died on the cross and rose from the grave to give you the opportunity to have a rel'ship with the One True Living God and have eternal life. Read the book of John in the Bible and open your heart to what God is saying to you!
This is a beautiful presentation of Deliverance in Christ. A beautiful tool to be used in your churches. Please make use of these tools to help save lost souls. Earn them for Christ.
Whether you ackowledge Jesus as Lord & Savior doesn't change the facts - the facts that HE IS LORD OVER ALL THE EARTH. It is your choice to believe in Him and accept what He did for you on that cross. Believe in Him today, and He will grant you eternal life and you will be made brand new. Jesus is Lord - and He lives!!! Why not believe the truth? Jesus loves you this much - to die for you, and not just any death but death on a cross. Admit you're a sinner in need of a Savior (Jesus Christ)
@TheLHB2010 You making a blanket statement judging all Christians is just as closed-minded as a Christian saying that all non-believers are going to Hell. If closed-minded, generalized, and biased Christian thought bothers you, try not to justify it by being intolerant yourself.
Says "who"!? Just b/c you can't "see" Jesus with your eyes doesn't mean He doesn't exist. You can't see the wind either, can you? Then how do you tell someone the wind exists? Yes, you feel it! Well, I KNOW that Jesus exists and He is the One True Living God. I'd rather believe & trust in Jesus and have assurance of where I'm going to spend eternity than trust in "myself" to save me from my sins. Repent and turn away from your sins and ask God to live in your heart - PS Read the Bible
@susanwilson13 This here is why so many people dislike you- the belief that You and You Only are Good People. If God truly is infinite in His love, then His kingdom welcomes all those who choose wisdom and understanding and love for their fellow human beings, no matter their creed or religion (or lack thereof). By being so standoffish and holier-than-thou, you foster resentment and mistrust in others while indulging your petty Pride, therefore straying from His kingdom and leading others astray.
God doesn't send you to hell. That's your choice. When you "choose" not to accept God's plan of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ you tell God you don't want to do it His way . .. and thus your destiny is hell. If it wasn't for Jesus' life, death and resurrection we'd all be destined for hell . . but God's gracious plan gives us the OPPORTUNITY to have a rel'ship with the Him! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
@kdwhbu Uuuuhh... The broken logic of your premise notwithstanding, why did you answer that to me? It has no connection to what I wrote. I didn't even talk about hell, or what God does or does not do.
@paireon The God of the Bible IS infinite and loving and He does welcome people into His kingdom but only on HIS conditions! The God of the Bible says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" and Jesus says, "No one comes to the Father (God) except through Me." It's only through the cleansing blood of Jesus that us, sinners, can come into fellowship with God who is Holy and cannot look on sin! There is none Holy, except God and the Lord Jesus Christ, read the Bible and see.
@kdwhbu A God that is infinitely loving does not put conditions on his love- because conditions are limitations, and limited concepts are by definition finite, so the God you are talking about cannot be infinite in his love. Also, I've read a lot of the Bible, and two things struck me: 1- most of it is incredibly boring, and 2- it contradicts itself on many occasions. The only logical explanation is that humans wrote it without any real divine inspiration, or misunderstood/twisted the meaning.
@paireon Glad to hear you read the Bible & the fact that you don't understand it or consider it boring is because you are not a believer in the One True Living God. When you become a believer then you will absolutely love the Bible b/c it is God's Love Story to man. Just admit that you don't want to believe there is One True God and He is the God of the Bible. You will not understand the Bible unless you accept God as who He is. He is a loving God but He's also a Just God. He must judge sin
@kdwhbu If God is as just and loving as you say, then he/she/it (assigning limitations such as gender to an omnipotent entity is kinda meaningless if you ask me), then I have nothing to fear anyway, because that means he completely understands my position (compared to defiling his name while claiming to uphold his edicts like so many do, my "sin" is likely pretty mild). And if the bible is a love story, then I have to say that it's the most dysfunctional "couple" I've ever read about.
@paireon Yes, you need to fear God because He will judge us-you- one day. However, His love and forgiveness of sin is for everyone! Even you! It doesn't sound like you've got any problem admitting you're a sinner (which we all are guilty of) but you also need to acknowledge and accept what Jesus did for you over 2000 years ago! He paid the price for your sin - why not accept this gift of eternal life from Jesus (and not go to hell). He's already paid your ransom - only fools don't believe!
@paireon one question for you . . . why do you watch these kind of videos (about Jesus / Christianity) if you don't believe? Do you think God - Jesus- is trying to "show" you something!? Jesus loves you very much!!!
@paireon Could you say that you're seeking God - admit it - you, just like everyone else, wants to know if God is real! That's ok - and, yes, He is real! The Creator of the universe wants a relationship with you and wants you to accept His gift of eternal life but you have to acknowledge Him as who He is - your Savior, your Redeemer. The fact that God says you have to do it His way is b/c we're sinners and He CANNOT allow sinners into heaven to be with Him unless they have been washed fromsin
@kdwhbu OK, this is "seeking God" thing is devolving into a "Yes you do!" "No I don't!" kindergarten argument. And Eternal Life(tm) doesn't particularly interest me anyways. Death and/or cessation of existence isn't particularly scary to me, just and unfortunate but necessary byproduct of life, like waste excretion.
@paireon Washed from sin by the blood of Jesus - the Sinless Son of God. This is God's plan - accept what Jesus did for you on the cross - admit you're a sinner in need of a Savior. Accept Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. Believe in Jesus - that he died for you & rose from the grave- He conquered death! Turn from your sin (bad ways) and turn to God. He is willing to forgive you and promises life eternal in heaven with Him. God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY
@kdwhbu Now you're contradicting yourself. "God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY" -so you're saying he'd be holier if he didn't judge? While I can agree with that sentiment I doubt this is what you meant from your previous postings. As for the death thing, see my previous post. And I already know I'm a "sinner".
@paireon I think you misunderstood. God IS Holy and must judge sin, if He did NOT judge sin He would NOT be Holy. And the world around us clearly shows that there is a God - the Creator of everything, whether you acknowledge this fact to be true or not.. The painting had a painter - the earth had a Creator- the Porsche had a maker - everything had a maker. You belong to God b/c He made you and loves you. Just b/c you CHOOSE not to believe doesn't mean it's not true! Look into it!
@kdwhbu Well, you wrote "God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY". Instead of blaming me for my misunderstanding, you should have admitted your mistake (i.e. poorly typed phrase). But that would require humility you do not appear to possess. Which ironically brings me back to my first post in this conversation months ago, where I mention Pride, and how yours leads you and others astray. I will never be convinced by one as Holier-than-Thou as you paint yourself to be.
@paireon Sorry for the poorly typed phrase -but that just tells me that since you could't figure out my "poorly typed phrase" into what it should have been then you really have no clue WHO God really is. You have created in your mind WHO god is but that's not WHO the REAL God is! I don't consider myself Holier than thou - I am a sinner, just like you - but I am confident in WHO I believe in. Why don't you humble yourself and admit that you need Jesus. He's the only one who can take away sin.
@paireon after watching this video now I can understand the real meaning & purpose of the crucification of Christ. Sometime we must not forget to thanks the people who crucified Christ . If they did not kill Him still we are suffering & we will lost our chance to go to haven. - amen!
@jabeydeera You should work on your english writing skills, as it doesn't really help bring your message across. Good for you if it takes so little for you to be convinced; I need a bit more personally. And as far as thanking them, well, they're probably in hell if you're right... although it could be an ironic punishment for them to hear all those thanks (or maybe not; it could give them solace as well).
@paireon Actually it's recorded in the Bible that the Roman commander and those guarding Jesus exclaimed, "He was surely the Son of God!" (Matthew 27:54) Jesus says in John 20:29, "Blessed are those who have not seen Me but still have believed." You believe in "something" - even believing in "nothing" is believing in "something". Why not believe the truth - give Jesus a chance. He will not let you down - if you truly seek God then you will find Him! He can open your eyes to the truth -
@kdwhbu Why must you continue with your faulty logic? I DON'T believe in "nothing"- you confuse belief and disbelief. Not believing in God is not believing in nothing- that's sollipsism. I believe in a lot of things. And those Romans most definitely DID see him, so they are a non-example. Also, I gave God a chance years ago, the offer's still open in fact, and nothing's come of it yet, so no dice there.
@paireon To say that you believe in "nothing" is to actually believe in something - your something is "nothing" - Not that hard to comprehend. - esp. if you can use the word sollipsism - yes you can see yourself and know that you exist - but the world around you exists too - who made it - you? The car you drive, or bus you ride - someone had to make it - or did it just "poof". Did you just "poof" here? The apt or house you live in - had to have been built by someone. God made everything.
@kdwhbu Wow. This is so full of logical fallacies and disregard for my previous statements I don't even know how to respond. Let me spell it out louder: I-NEVER-SAID-I-BELIEVE-IN-NOTHING! I-BELIEVE-IN-MANY-THINGS! NOT-BELIEVING-IN-GOD-AND-BELIEVING-IN-NOTHING-IS-NOT-THE-SAME-THING! I-BELIEVE-IN-MUCH-MORE-THAN-MYSELF-THEREFORE-I-AM-NOT-SOLLIPSISTIC! Will I have to spell those out in 100-meter flaming letters for you? And come on, the "poof or God" thing is ridiculous even to most christians.
No, you sure don't - you need to be saved by Jesus Christ (who's NOT imaginary) - being a "good fellow" is not what we're talking about. Admit you're a sinner (if you've ever told a lie then you qualify, as do we all) and Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can rescue you from the guilt and punishment of sin - which is eternal damnation. That's reality whether you accept it as reality or not. It's too late when you're dead! Turn to Jesus today to save you from your sins!
@kdwhbu Sounds to me like you turn to God mostly out of fear for your own bad actions and the punisment they entail instead of for the merit of faith in itself, using it to shift and escape blame for what you did. I don't hide from myself, I can admit my wrongs as my own and don't try to escape the punishment through a cheap cop-out (which you make conversion sound like) if I'm judged guilty.
@kdwhbu You're saying God's love and forgiveness is for everyone (i.e. unconditional), but then you give a CONDITION that people have to fulfill to receive said "unconditional" love. Your argument makes no sense.
@paireon nope, there's no condition. When you believe in God. Sorry, TRULY believe in God, then you will naturally be like him, living a holy life. There would no need for you to CONSCIOUSLY be holy. It would be natural. No conditions attach but whether how much you want and how truly you believe.
In don't get it. He released this guy the bonds holy matrimony? Wouldn't marriage be a good thing? Am I missing something here? I would hope to think it has nothing to do about race. Are they saying not to marry out of your nationality? If this is not what is being taught they should really choose the cast a little more wisely because this has racism all over it.
@eppsman808 I believe what he's releasing the guy from are the bonds of lust and fornication, not marriage. Can't be married to two at once, right? But the flesh certainly can lust after 2(+) at once. I don't see it as racist at all. The flesh, unless crucified daily, responds to the stimulus around it. Wouldn't have mattered to this guy which "color" or race of lady had come first.
wow MACHORFIC. christ died for u and me and u wana say hes being selfish? no. we are b.the selfish and wrong ones. god doesent help those who dont believe. and theres always stumbls in life. so u cant go round blaming jesus for the the problems u created.
wow MACHORFIC. christ died for u and me and u wana say hes being selfish? no. we are b.the selfish and wrong ones. god doesent help those who dont believe. and theres always stumbls in life. so u cant go round blaming jesus for the the problems u created.
bc that is is people wut they choose in life MACHORFIC. so you are blaming God bc people wanna be doing wrong and kill others? when you do somthing wrong you have tp pay consequences in life. dont blame God for the choice that human race makes he is here to help us out that misery but people dont belive in him so no one cant force you to either. but when you suffer or things go wrong dont put the blame on God but on yourself. We will all suffer in life just as God suffer when he died 4 u n me!
um... i dont think the video is inferring that interracial marriage is a sin, didn't notice that until i read the comments. >.> Guys, we need to move out of this racist mindset, seeing things where they dont exist means we still have it at the back of our mind.
@maobada: Jesus, the Christ, has to be in the middle b/c God cannot look on sin! God requires there to be a blameless (without sin) sacrifice for sin (read the Old Test) and Jesus was that ultimate sacrifice to redeem man back to God. For the death that He (Jesus) died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. When you repent to God you're simply acknowledging you're a sinner and accept His gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ!
The thing with them getting married isn't about interracial marriage! LOL Its meant to show the "sin" of replacing God's presence in your life with some other purpose, even a good thing like a marriage relationship can be a a negative thing if a person is trying to fill the place that only God can.
i noticed somethings. those red ribbons are sins, right? well then, this video is inferring that interracial couples are a sin, they should'nt have used the ribbons when he first fell in love. also, in the church as part of many ceremonies wine is drunk, so the church is sinning? jesus himself promoted wine? so is he in hell now?
random. but very true if you know what they are talking about.
@ MistaPage..
the song wasnt supposed to be a stalkerish song. it was supposed to mean that God is watching you everywhere you go no matter what. and the video means that god is watching you walk down the wrong path and make bad choices EX A: (video) cheating, gambling, and drinking. When you choose to accept God into your heart he will take all he pain away and forgive you.
Yes, thank you. I appreciate your kind words. (And I certainly need my life changing!)
But we've gone off topic somewhat. My initial point was that it was odd to use a song like this in an attempt to portray the message that you (and they) seem to be talking about. And I gave some evidence for that. My point has not been sensibly addressed yet. But never mind.
Just wondering what you mean by "connect his faith to any song". I'm not a Christian, you see, so you might have to help me out here.
Does it follow then that anyone who *doesn't* "connect" with this song is *not* "truly faithful to God"? Do you have a verse of Scripture (or at least some Biblical reasoning) for that?
And do you really mean *any* song? How about "I've Got a Lovely Bunch of Coconuts", for example?
Well, i really don't have any biblical facts costs coz honestly, i haven't reading my bible for the last 2 mos...But still, i try to talk to God every chance I have like when i'm on a cab, lying on the bed, listening to worship music...etc.....
about the " any song" - i'm really pertaining to love, friend and life songs. But also, i will not include some metals coz they sound like Hell is about to break loose!!!
the example you gave can be connected to faith simply like this - "God provides"
ur welcome.....acutally im a musician at our church here in the Philippines and kinda leaves the ministry coz i have to practise my violin...im a guitarist and pianist at Jesus' Flock and music is one my passions in life....hehehhe
Given how the vido ends, wouldn't "King of Pain" have been a better song? As Lenny Bruce said, "If Jesus had been killed twenty years ago, Catholic school children would be wearing little electric chairs around their necks instead of crosses".
Wow. This video took me down memory lane! At first I thought, "Oh no...this is going to be cheesy." It wasn't...it moved me deeply. Thank you for sharing.
Actions are very powerful and I pray people watching the actions of Jesus, reinacted in this performance, will touch their hearts and lead them to Him, who is the only one they need.
thumbs up if u think the guy looks like NPH (barney stinson )

If it wasn't for Jesus' life, death and resurrection we'd all be destined for hell . . but God's gracious plan gives us the OPPORTUNITY to have a rel'ship with the Him! Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6
kdwhbu 1 year ago
@kdwhbu Uuuuhh... The broken logic of your premise notwithstanding, why did you answer that to me? It has no connection to what I wrote. I didn't even talk about hell, or what God does or does not do.
paireon 1 year ago
@paireon The God of the Bible IS infinite and loving and He does welcome people into His kingdom but only on HIS conditions! The God of the Bible says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" and Jesus says, "No one comes to the Father (God) except through Me." It's only through the cleansing blood of Jesus that us, sinners, can come into fellowship with God who is Holy and cannot look on sin! There is none Holy, except God and the Lord Jesus Christ, read the Bible and see.
kdwhbu 1 year ago
@kdwhbu A God that is infinitely loving does not put conditions on his love- because conditions are limitations, and limited concepts are by definition finite, so the God you are talking about cannot be infinite in his love. Also, I've read a lot of the Bible, and two things struck me: 1- most of it is incredibly boring, and 2- it contradicts itself on many occasions. The only logical explanation is that humans wrote it without any real divine inspiration, or misunderstood/twisted the meaning.
paireon 1 year ago
@paireon Glad to hear you read the Bible & the fact that you don't understand it or consider it boring is because you are not a believer in the One True Living God. When you become a believer then you will absolutely love the Bible b/c it is God's Love Story to man. Just admit that you don't want to believe there is One True God and He is the God of the Bible. You will not understand the Bible unless you accept God as who He is. He is a loving God but He's also a Just God. He must judge sin
kdwhbu 1 year ago
@kdwhbu If God is as just and loving as you say, then he/she/it (assigning limitations such as gender to an omnipotent entity is kinda meaningless if you ask me), then I have nothing to fear anyway, because that means he completely understands my position (compared to defiling his name while claiming to uphold his edicts like so many do, my "sin" is likely pretty mild). And if the bible is a love story, then I have to say that it's the most dysfunctional "couple" I've ever read about.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Yes, you need to fear God because He will judge us-you- one day. However, His love and forgiveness of sin is for everyone! Even you! It doesn't sound like you've got any problem admitting you're a sinner (which we all are guilty of) but you also need to acknowledge and accept what Jesus did for you over 2000 years ago! He paid the price for your sin - why not accept this gift of eternal life from Jesus (and not go to hell). He's already paid your ransom - only fools don't believe!
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu Now you're double-posting.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon one question for you . . . why do you watch these kind of videos (about Jesus / Christianity) if you don't believe? Do you think God - Jesus- is trying to "show" you something!? Jesus loves you very much!!!
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu It's called "curiosity". Just because I watch Charlie the Unicorn vids doesn't mean I believe in unicorns.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Could you say that you're seeking God - admit it - you, just like everyone else, wants to know if God is real! That's ok - and, yes, He is real! The Creator of the universe wants a relationship with you and wants you to accept His gift of eternal life but you have to acknowledge Him as who He is - your Savior, your Redeemer. The fact that God says you have to do it His way is b/c we're sinners and He CANNOT allow sinners into heaven to be with Him unless they have been washed fromsin
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu OK, this is "seeking God" thing is devolving into a "Yes you do!" "No I don't!" kindergarten argument. And Eternal Life(tm) doesn't particularly interest me anyways. Death and/or cessation of existence isn't particularly scary to me, just and unfortunate but necessary byproduct of life, like waste excretion.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Washed from sin by the blood of Jesus - the Sinless Son of God. This is God's plan - accept what Jesus did for you on the cross - admit you're a sinner in need of a Savior. Accept Jesus as your personal Savior and Lord. Believe in Jesus - that he died for you & rose from the grave- He conquered death! Turn from your sin (bad ways) and turn to God. He is willing to forgive you and promises life eternal in heaven with Him. God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu Now you're contradicting yourself. "God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY" -so you're saying he'd be holier if he didn't judge? While I can agree with that sentiment I doubt this is what you meant from your previous postings. As for the death thing, see my previous post. And I already know I'm a "sinner".
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon I think you misunderstood. God IS Holy and must judge sin, if He did NOT judge sin He would NOT be Holy. And the world around us clearly shows that there is a God - the Creator of everything, whether you acknowledge this fact to be true or not.. The painting had a painter - the earth had a Creator- the Porsche had a maker - everything had a maker. You belong to God b/c He made you and loves you. Just b/c you CHOOSE not to believe doesn't mean it's not true! Look into it!
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu Well, you wrote "God is Holy and must judge sin, if He didn't He would be HOLY". Instead of blaming me for my misunderstanding, you should have admitted your mistake (i.e. poorly typed phrase). But that would require humility you do not appear to possess. Which ironically brings me back to my first post in this conversation months ago, where I mention Pride, and how yours leads you and others astray. I will never be convinced by one as Holier-than-Thou as you paint yourself to be.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Sorry for the poorly typed phrase -but that just tells me that since you could't figure out my "poorly typed phrase" into what it should have been then you really have no clue WHO God really is. You have created in your mind WHO god is but that's not WHO the REAL God is! I don't consider myself Holier than thou - I am a sinner, just like you - but I am confident in WHO I believe in. Why don't you humble yourself and admit that you need Jesus. He's the only one who can take away sin.
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@paireon after watching this video now I can understand the real meaning & purpose of the crucification of Christ. Sometime we must not forget to thanks the people who crucified Christ . If they did not kill Him still we are suffering & we will lost our chance to go to haven. - amen!
jabeydeera 9 months ago
@jabeydeera You should work on your english writing skills, as it doesn't really help bring your message across. Good for you if it takes so little for you to be convinced; I need a bit more personally. And as far as thanking them, well, they're probably in hell if you're right... although it could be an ironic punishment for them to hear all those thanks (or maybe not; it could give them solace as well).
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Actually it's recorded in the Bible that the Roman commander and those guarding Jesus exclaimed, "He was surely the Son of God!" (Matthew 27:54) Jesus says in John 20:29, "Blessed are those who have not seen Me but still have believed." You believe in "something" - even believing in "nothing" is believing in "something". Why not believe the truth - give Jesus a chance. He will not let you down - if you truly seek God then you will find Him! He can open your eyes to the truth -
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu Why must you continue with your faulty logic? I DON'T believe in "nothing"- you confuse belief and disbelief. Not believing in God is not believing in nothing- that's sollipsism. I believe in a lot of things. And those Romans most definitely DID see him, so they are a non-example. Also, I gave God a chance years ago, the offer's still open in fact, and nothing's come of it yet, so no dice there.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon To say that you believe in "nothing" is to actually believe in something - your something is "nothing" - Not that hard to comprehend. - esp. if you can use the word sollipsism - yes you can see yourself and know that you exist - but the world around you exists too - who made it - you? The car you drive, or bus you ride - someone had to make it - or did it just "poof". Did you just "poof" here? The apt or house you live in - had to have been built by someone. God made everything.
kdwhbu 9 months ago
@kdwhbu Wow. This is so full of logical fallacies and disregard for my previous statements I don't even know how to respond. Let me spell it out louder: I-NEVER-SAID-I-BELIEVE-IN-NOTHING! I-BELIEVE-IN-MANY-THINGS! NOT-BELIEVING-IN-GOD-AND-BELIEVING-IN-NOTHING-IS-NOT-THE-SAME-THING! I-BELIEVE-IN-MUCH-MORE-THAN-MYSELF-THEREFORE-I-AM-NOT-SOLLIPSISTIC! Will I have to spell those out in 100-meter flaming letters for you? And come on, the "poof or God" thing is ridiculous even to most christians.
paireon 9 months ago
No, you sure don't - you need to be saved by Jesus Christ (who's NOT imaginary) - being a "good fellow" is not what we're talking about. Admit you're a sinner (if you've ever told a lie then you qualify, as do we all) and Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can rescue you from the guilt and punishment of sin - which is eternal damnation. That's reality whether you accept it as reality or not. It's too late when you're dead! Turn to Jesus today to save you from your sins!
kdwhbu 1 year ago
@kdwhbu Sounds to me like you turn to God mostly out of fear for your own bad actions and the punisment they entail instead of for the merit of faith in itself, using it to shift and escape blame for what you did. I don't hide from myself, I can admit my wrongs as my own and don't try to escape the punishment through a cheap cop-out (which you make conversion sound like) if I'm judged guilty.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon Yes, you need to fear God because He will judge us-you- one day. However, His love and forgiveness of sin is for everyone! Even you! @kdwhbu You're saying God's love and forgiveness is for everyone (i.e. unconditional), but then you give a CONDITION that people have to fulfill to receive said "unconditional" love. Your argument makes no sense.
paireon 9 months ago
@paireon nope, there's no condition. When you believe in God. Sorry, TRULY believe in God, then you will naturally be like him, living a holy life. There would no need for you to CONSCIOUSLY be holy. It would be natural. No conditions attach but whether how much you want and how truly you believe.

autumnappleor 1 year ago
In don't get it. He released this guy the bonds holy matrimony? Wouldn't marriage be a good thing? Am I missing something here? I would hope to think it has nothing to do about race. Are they saying not to marry out of your nationality? If this is not what is being taught they should really choose the cast a little more wisely because this has racism all over it.
eppsman808 1 year ago
@eppsman808 I believe what he's releasing the guy from are the bonds of lust and fornication, not marriage. Can't be married to two at once, right? But the flesh certainly can lust after 2(+) at once. I don't see it as racist at all. The flesh, unless crucified daily, responds to the stimulus around it. Wouldn't have mattered to this guy which "color" or race of lady had come first.

Why should man repent directly to GOD (ALLAH)? Why should the Christ be in the middle?
maobada 2 years ago
read John 3:16
harvestts 1 year ago
@maobada: Jesus, the Christ, has to be in the middle b/c God cannot look on sin! God requires there to be a blameless (without sin) sacrifice for sin (read the Old Test) and Jesus was that ultimate sacrifice to redeem man back to God. For the death that He (Jesus) died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God. When you repent to God you're simply acknowledging you're a sinner and accept His gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ!
kdwhbu 1 year ago
The thing with them getting married isn't about interracial marriage! LOL Its meant to show the "sin" of replacing God's presence in your life with some other purpose, even a good thing like a marriage relationship can be a a negative thing if a person is trying to fill the place that only God can.

the song wasnt supposed to be a stalkerish song. it was supposed to mean that God is watching you everywhere you go no matter what. and the video means that god is watching you walk down the wrong path and make bad choices EX A: (video) cheating, gambling, and drinking. When you choose to accept God into your heart he will take all he pain away and forgive you.

cup4c4k3 2 years ago
Yes, thank you. I appreciate your kind words. (And I certainly need my life changing!)
But we've gone off topic somewhat. My initial point was that it was odd to use a song like this in an attempt to portray the message that you (and they) seem to be talking about. And I gave some evidence for that. My point has not been sensibly addressed yet. But never mind.
Take care. (c:

A really odd choice of song.
At best it's merely sentimental. But it may even be the words of an obsessive stalker.
"I think the song is very, very sinister and ugly and people have misinterpreted it as being a gentle, little love song." (Sting)
MistaPage 2 years ago
they say this song is for Stalkers..but who cares,,,, if one is truly faithful to God, one will connect his faith to any song...
bencarlogallevo 2 years ago 2
Hi!
Thanks!
MistaPage 2 years ago
Well, i really don't have any biblical facts costs coz honestly, i haven't reading my bible for the last 2 mos...But still, i try to talk to God every chance I have like when i'm on a cab, lying on the bed, listening to worship music...etc.....
about the " any song" - i'm really pertaining to love, friend and life songs. But also, i will not include some metals coz they sound like Hell is about to break loose!!!
the example you gave can be connected to faith simply like this - "God provides"
