i dont think people realize ramping was created so that everyone is shooting at the same speed and that no games would be determined by who has the better snake position. Most people are right handed and it would suck to play snake and its left side of the field going against someone whos right handed and has the snake on their right side. It just evend out the sides so the side you started did not determine the winner. It was designed for tournament play, not walk on.
