Oh please don't do this. Giving Gordon a voice defeats one of the most intuitive gameplay elements that makes HL and HL2 so unique: Allowing the player to connect/fill the roll of Gordon Freeman. As soon as you give him a voice, you separate the player from the character, and the overall experience becomes less immersive.

There should be an option as to whether or not enabling the voice of Dr. Freeman. I would much more enjoy the first person silence. Maybe, if there are cutscenes in this one, you could add a voice, but only in cutscenes, otherwise, it just ruins the game. I mean, he sounds like the stereotyped nerd from most cartoons. -_-
