  • k just wanted to let you know.I work at scoobie dealership.

  • @teflongator

    No problem!

  • you dont have to take the raditor hose off to do the timimg belt

  • @teflongator

I know that but the hose was in need of changing anyways so it still had to come off :)

  • i bet you couldnt get it to stop on marks again haha im about to do a timing belt on a legacy i bought for 200$ :) 205k lots of rust, anything i should be aware of?

  • @hondaman072

Hmm do you have the service manual for the car? Which year do you have? send me a message and I can send you the service manual for my 95.

Only things you really have to worry about is rusted stuff that will break..

My timing belt covers pretty much broke and when you remove the tensionermake sure not to compressor it fully all in one shot or you will kill the seals

  • I am just about to take my 1990 EJ22 block and heads to the machine shop. Doing a full rebuild new pistons, rings, bearings, heads machined, reconditioned rods. It's my first rebuild some people find the subaru engine daunting to work on but I find it very easy and just a joy. SUBARU Forever

  • A thing of beauty

  • Thanks :D I will be pulling the motor in a few weeks. need to replace clutch and a few seals

  • Great Job!
