Damn, such a shame Epic didn't release this game properly. It's only now with 2.1 patch, TItan Pack, mods like Galtanor's Invasion, MapMixer, Domination, with the 4 community bonus packs, the game started to shine. It still has problems though, but to be honest, the more I play it (I'm a casual Unreal series fan), the more I realize that it's by far the best UT to date.

try turning up the sensitivity on your mouse, it'll screw you over at first but then you'll start getting it. just don't turn it up to high or you won't have good precision for long range. my other advice is to just keep playing and you should improve over time.

If you can't find any Titan games online that's because not many people are still playing the game online.. but the mode is certainly there and you can set up a local game. It's a mutator, which works in Greed, CTF, WAR and Deathmatch.

Correct me if I'm wrong but why do it says that you get 1 point for skull scored in greed if the first thing he says is that titans can't be used in greed.

I did not say Titans can't be USED in Greed, I said they can't score points. You can turn Titan, you just don't get points for doing so. It is a support role and especially effective at keeping the other team from scoring.

Great game, but it's probably the most repetitive game I've ever played. All you do is shoot a weapon. There are no grenades... no melee disclosing the one melee weapon that stinks anyway... and you just keep shooting and spawning, shooting and spawning, killing, dieing, spawning... spawning. The game almost moves too fast to the point where you get too much out of it... and there's nothing more to do. But I still think it's fun. It's graphics give it it's leverage on the market I bet.

The game only plays that way if you are new and don't understand its deeper strategies, of which there are many more than in any other game of this type. You should watch some of the other videos.. Might give you an idea.

You might be right man, but honestly... it's been 2 days... and fps's are my strong point... I'm already destroying everyone online. Am I the best player out there? Of course not... but this game doesn't require stradegy in my opinion. The main thing I like is that... it doesn't matter what gun you have... but how good you are with it. But besides that, I think anyone can play it. It's pretty darn simple.

Sounds like you are playing on new player pubs.. or against bots without realizing it.. cause honestly I doubt you can destroy any of the players with real experience. Of which there are many. Not taking offense to what you are saying but I have been with this series nearly 10 years now.. and have seen many claims like that to be honest. Perhaps anyone can play it, but not everyone can "play" it, if you catch my drift. UT has always been miles ahead.. especially when it comes to movement options

Dude, even halo requires more stradegy than UT3. This game requires the least amount of stradegy in any of the fps's out there. Now with capture the flag or levels vehicles... that's a different story, but the gist of the game is simple. No one can out smart me by a long jump because it's a simple game.

( me VS bots/online people i allways win i found some bugs and some cheats(without cheat code)) andto kill with other wepons and thay make the "same" maps from ut1 to ut3 and same with the wepons. p.s

i fight agenst godlike bots and still on wining side allways ;(

it funny that the name of the hero at ut3 is Reaper but the wep Reaper is no more at ut3. x!D

Also there are many deployable mine type things.. And the rocket launcher does have a grenade mode. However UT3 does lack in some aspects that made UT2004 fun, such as sticky mines and spider mines that you could actually throw around on foot.

lag doesnt always have to do with graphics, it can include how powerful your internet is, slow connection = lag, other players can also cause lag for you.

Abuse? i call it winning :P I am one of the most brutal players u will ever find on this game. I am ranked 1500 on the leaderboards(for now) and I usually play vctf of warfare. If anyone wants to play with me my Psn id is dbzlover26 . P.S. If someone tries to run u over with a scorpion while you're titan, do the ground pound and give em the famous "denied" line, then destroy them. Also, another good way to fill up your meter is by destroying nodes

It's not via a button. When I say console I mean the command prompt which is accessible only via the PC version (F10 or TAB). You type "behindview" there.

No. The update only came for those with the ps3 version, and the Pc version if they had the game on steam. Those with the Xbox version won't get the update, and will have to purchase the new version.

I didn't hear this in the tutorial, but are titans titans until they die? (Meaning no time limit with titan) Also when you run out of ammo and you transform into a behemoth, do you regain some ammo or are you still at a 0?

you remain a titan or behemoth until you die yes.. no time limit, but behemoth is something like 45 seconds currently. when you turn behemoth you regain all the ammo and health of course.

That's not a mod, when you update to v2.0 and the titan pack you get the ability to view the titan in third person by default running this mutator. As far as viewing normal players in third person you can either type "behindview" in the console or download one of the many third person mutators from Epic's forums.

Plus, the aim goes off slightly when you're in third person view. You can't totally trust your reticle for shock combos.

Nice tutorial! I havent accualy got the titan but i will get it. I'm just wondering, and maybe it was in the video but i missed it, when u get the 20 points, do you transform into the titan, the benemoth, or witchever one you choose? if its the titan then how do you transform into the benemoth?

1:44 "fill the meter to enable the first transformation and again for the next". first fill up turns you into a titan. if you fill it up while a titan, you can hit R to transform into the behemoth. Also while the threshold is 20 points, this in practice means you need 21 or more to actually trigger it.

behemoth is the second stage, look at 1:44 "fill the meter to enable the first transformation, and again for the next".. so titan is the first stage and behemoth the 2nd, which you achieve once you've once again filled it up as a titan.

how do you do such videos? is there any special program?

It's not one special program in particular. Each video is created using a combination of video production & graphic design software and takes several days to complete. I spend the first couple of days playtesting & writing the script, then I do the voiceover, then I play and compile a library of gigabytes of screen captured footage. Then I must sift through many minutes of video and edit it together to match the VO. That's the short of it but there is a lot more involved than using X program. :)
