George Strait is the true king of country music. He's done more for country music then so many other singers out there. He's so real and happy with what he does. He's an increbile singer and I think he will always be a legend.

George can turn a phrase better than just about anybody today. My favorite song on his latest album Twang is "Where Have I Been All My Life". This is just a very good album with some of the songs being penned by one of my favorite song writers, Dean Dillon. If you are a counrty fan, in fact a fan of any kind of music and need something to soothe the soul or calm the beast inside, this is a must have. What I don't understand about this guy: I have never heard a singer who is so constantly relying on Melodyne (a popular studio software that corrects flat notes in the vocal melody). The thing is, everyone in every genre of music uses it in the studio, no big deal. But this guy uses it so massively that it comes through all the time. You can hear it every other second. Either he is such a bad singer that they have to overuse it or they just can't handle the program... I'm honestly puzzled!
