Namarie. I think this is the first time fans of a series have been truly happy with the way the film adaption turned out. And thats because of the love and effort that everyone put into it.
I think maybe it will take many years to match a film like this. not for having won many oscars or have had a huge box office, it's because this film was made by a family who loved what they did every day to make his fans also felt that love, and I think they did it. For me is a ritual see every year at Christmas all the trilogy, because at the end of it give a message, that there is hope and love even in this world and that all the bad things have an end
I am crying... after two years all togheter they became a family and i think that the all oscars that they won are for the extraordinary work that they do and also for the passion, love who they put into this film... the can never forget this... i only wish i was there

this is probably the best movie ever made, because of all the emotional bonds around it. Theyre like a real family and put their heart and soul int his movie.
i watched this and cried and i knew that no matter what i will do in life i will know that i will meet these kinds of people and bring them along on a journey that never ends
I am so sad that I didn't get a chance to work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I know it was hard work, but sometimes it's all worth it - what an experience it must have been.
Lord of the Rings is the best Triologie everytime. Its such a amazing film.. I love this Film so much and I must say "Thanks" to all of the great actors, peter jackson and the film crew. Thank you guys for this incredible Movie..
Alright i think this is the best place to ask this question:guys a long time ago i started playing lotr the rise of the witch king on PC.my damn question is:does anyone understand-know the difference between toggle weapon skill and upgraded toggle weapon skill??i make an easterling i put him toggle weapon and i upgrade that skill..but i dont understand the difference because bow shape=the same, atk.speed=the same, power i think the same..for which reason should upgrade that toggle weapon skill?
I love this so much. I grew up watching these movies and last week I watched all of them, I never wanted it to end so I searched "Lord of the rings" on youtube. And it lead me to these amazing videos that make me want to laugh and cry all at the same moment! Thank you, xXmellemXx. For all your work on these videos. <3
If theres one thing i regret above all else, its that i never got a chance to work on the lord of the lord of the rings. But we have the hobbit to look forward too i guess ;)
Oh...god i can't stop saying almost the same phrases as comments....what should i write here....except i wish i could work and being there with those good hearted people... :'') !!One Of A Kind!!!
They created a piece of art that will stand out like "Ben Hur" or ...
I can't even think of any other film that was so rich and powerful and balanced (Peter Jackson's decision to change a scene of Aragorn fighting Sauron to one with a huge Troll)...
and define an era like da Vinci's Mona Lisa or Michelangelo's David for the Renaissance.
I am thankful that I lived to read the books, believe no movie could ever capture this complexity and then watch the trilogy.
Great, now I wanna meet Viggo irl. What a great man, what a personality. That combination of true down to earth gentleman and playful child that I consider myself to be as well is just lovely to behold. All of them really, they seem very nice and have such great stories & experiences to share...
As a young guy aspiring to inspire people through films myself, I say: thank you so much for these educational, beautiful and humorous outtakes and behind the scenes, they have been incredible to watch.
I can only repeat what the others have said- I watched the hobbit trailer, saw 'Lord of the Rings Outtakes' in the sidebar and thought oh hey, a little bit of laughs and then maybe I'll read a book before I go to sleep. Now its 2AM and I'm in tears. Thanks so much for uploading! Still saving up for the extended versions, will definitely get them some day!
There's nothing I would ever enjoy more than being apart of a cast and crew as close as LOTR's was. Hopefully my dream of being apart of a movie will come true <3
I recently went trough the extended editions of all 3 movies. Today i watched these outtakes and behind the scenes whole night for the first time ever. (time is now 06:40).
Tomorrow i'll watch them again, the best trilogy of movies, EVER!
one of the best experiences i've ever had on youtube, lol. I was close to tears like thirty times. I am amazed by the personalities behind this project and the incredible work that went into it. just the complete lack of laziness and convenience that seems to dominate film-making nowadays. the way it was all about staying true to the story and to the expectations of the fans. I wish Tolkien were around to see the films just to hear his reaction and opinion. anyway, thanks for these videos!
Glad to hear that I'm not the only one that almost cried, these movies came out when I was very young 5th grade and by far are my favorite I'm glad that I have watched them cant wait for the hobbit!
i dont really know how to describe it..wow..the cast..the movies..the books..the whole world that Tolkein created was increadibly inspiring n wonderfully amazing! thank you so much for taking me into this wonderful journey..i am forever thankful to them for makng all of this happen.
what a wonderful, wonderful crew and SUCH amazing, inspiring people. every single person that was involved in the film were so fortunate to have had this rare opportunity to experience something really special. Really, listening to each actor, actress, crew member's experience, joys, and trials with this film has been incredibly inspiring to me and I'm just so thankful that Peter Jackson and the rest of the film team had the guts to take on a project this big and carry it through.
I have all of this at home, so I've seen it a hundred times, but somehow, I still find myself shedding a few tears. I grew up with these movies. Tonight, Christmas night, I saw Part 1 of the BTS and thought, I'll watch one or two and I'll just rewatch all of it on my DvDs tomorrow...I ended up watching all of it. There's something different this time, because I know the Hobbit is coming out in a year, and some of the cast and crew got to be together again. LOTR changed my life, and still does!
I had to take my girlfriend to work at 4:00AM this morning on Christmas Eve... And I came home wanting to sleep. But I looked to the first video about outtakes and I've been awake ever since. It's now 8:00AM, and this is the greatest Christmas Eve ever.
A big THANK YOU for posting this here xXmellemXx. I started watching Lotr-clips at 11 pm, now the time is 3.20 am. I just could't stop watching. I didn't know the lotr staff visited Oslo. I noticed your 2-second comment "Norway :)", does that make you Norwegian? Greets
Epic in the truest sense of the word. I felt like I lived it with them watching this. It's a sad feeling, knowing that I may never be able to work on something this special myself... I will be constantly searching for that kind of death bed experience though. Much love. x
It's amazing that while I was reading Eragon by Christopher Paolini, I was imagining the scenes to be something like LOTR. Imagine my disappointment when I saw the film...TOTAL disappointment. I wish Pete was the one who directed that film - or the whole story. I'M ABSOLUTELY SURE it would've turned out MORE than great! Absolutely LOVE The Lord of the Rings and the Inheritance Cycle! Cheers to everyone involved in LOTR! :D
Best trilogy ever! Honestly I grew up with the lord of the rings and probably never forget the impact this series had on my life. I can't imagine how much it influenced the people who were involved with making it! My life dream have always been to create an experience similar to filming the lord of the rings. I know that it will make me feel the true meaning of life. Fuck the money, the fame or a hot girlfriend I just want to experience something like that and make my life contribute to history.
wow thank you so much xXmellemXx for this outakes.
Big thanks to all the crew and cast of lotr.. You made us the fans love, cheer, cry and be happy with you... much love and respect for the sacrifice you made to make this unique Movie.
I wish i could had been there, it's this one in a lifetime experience that will never happen again and that moment at the end when elijah/frodo wrapped it up made me very sad.
I love LOTR so much, there MUST come new movies, they make me feel worth living, worth fighting for life. I wish I would be in a world of LOTR and making the world safe with my friends, fighting for something you really love! It´s just an amazing movie that is able to reach my heart. I hope that one day i´ll wake up in a LOTR world, or that you return in a LOTR world in your second life.
Lord of the Rings is by far, my favorite movie(s)! I could watch these behind the scene things for hours and not get tired of it! I love it so much! Tolkien, Jackson and all of the actors really have an amazing gift!! :)
Throughout this whole thing, Sir Ian McKellen has been saying the most Gandalf-type sayings. It's perfect! There could not have been a better Gandalf.
About 3 months ago the local movie theater in my town was showing all 3 extended cut versions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. They were showing each one on Tuesday for the next 3 weeks. My friends and I went and saw each one even though we had all already seen the extended versions many, many times. This is by far the best trilogy I have watched so far in my life and I shall remember these movies till the day I die. Now, if you would excuse me, I have to go watch all 3 extended versions again.
I give my thanks to the cast and crew for doing these outakes and the movies, but my BIG thanks goes to xXmellemXx for uploading these videos in order for us to watch them. so again THANK YOU!
Yes, i have gone through acting experiences and especially one for only 2 months and is sooo memorible and has made me a better person. I wish sooo much to be in the Hobbit!!!!!!!!!! :D
THIS is why I've decided to become a film maker when I grow up. I'm 13, and It's my dream. There's nothing I enjoy more than working on projects with my friends and superiors, and when I watch this, it's absolutely confirmed. Maybe I'll go nowhere and my career will be a gigantic waste of time. But I'll be doing what I love until the end :D
Thanks to you and the others Viggo, this is amazing!

I clicked on the first video thinking "Oh hey, outtakes!", but after watching the whole package I feel like I've got a bit more life experience now.
