By the age of 16, I had two friends dead from guns and not by crime, because, the parents did not lock up their guns properly. We all sit here and complain what our countries are doing to us but how many of us stand up, go outside, speak to others, contact their mayors or MP's?. Right now I am pushing for a referendum to remove fluoride from our waters, I refuse to sit here and complain Action is needed in all areas, I can't do it all alone. Taking fluoride out of the water will make more people care.

It does not create more responsible gun owners nor does it stop criminals (i assume you are referring to the Hells Angels vs. Mongols shootout in Montreal, none of whom used legally obtained firearms. The registry did not stop Taber, Mayerthorpe, Spiritwood, Asian gangs in Calgary. There are better ways to stop crime than "registering" legal firearms.
